Jay: Championship manager? Completed it. Neil: But you cant complete it. Jay: err, I know, But I got so good at it they offered me a role in the England set-up. Neil: Did they? Jay: I took Woking from the conference to the champions league in 6 seasons, that kind of stuff doesnt go unnoticed.

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!

Don't like to say it - but this is beginning to remind me of another no show Dutchman. Back in 1981 I was 14 and super excited that Leicester would sign the Dutch wizard Johan Cruyff. Indeed the following article was in the Sun newspaper on Wednesday 25 February 1981:- What could possibly go wrong? I remember the kids at my school were all buzzing. In recent weeks we had beaten Liverpool, Man U and Spurs and now were to get Cruyff. I started to dream about Johan doing a Cruff turn before crossing for Lineker to smash the ball home! Sadly as Jock Wallace prepared his Leicester players for the game against Forest, Cruyff was wheeling through arrivals at Valencia’s Manises airport. Yes Johan had done the dirty and joined a Spanish club (no doubt the weather was better than found in the East Midlands)/ -
It is clear that El Khannouss has a bromance with Buonanotte... ...only passing to Buonanotte etc. Once he it gets over that - could be decent.

I imagine that a lot of people (including me) don't really know how the Nations League works. To be honest I can't even be bothered to look it up. I don't mind the World Cup or European Championships because they are the traditional qualification for a tournament affairs. I am 57 and until this year have watched every England game for about the last 50 years. On Thursday I was so uninspired by the Nations League I watched a DVD with the wife instead. Tonight Countryfile and Antiques Roadshow are more appealing than England v. Finland!!

Thought Kristiansen had one of his best games in a City shirt today.

Despite living in Hertfordshire for the last 30 years and have been grown up in Leicester and as a student in Leeds... ...even in Hertfordshire I keep running into a bitter Leeds fan! This bloke wears a Leeds bobble hat even in hot weather... ...Leicester are apparently cheats of the highest order!!!

Fairly sure I went to school with his brother Neil Rudkin... ...first year 1974 Overdale School Knighton.

I thought someone wanted him on Skeggy beach counting grains of sand before kick off!

The other day I was listening to a podcast on the legendary record producer Trevor Horn (The Buggles, ABC, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Yes, Art Of Noise, Malcolm Mclaren, Grace Jones, Seal and er Dollar). Anyway some of you may not realise - but Trevor lived in Leicester during the 1960s and 70s. Consequently this 1974 classic was an early Trevor Horn production:- ...well you've got to start somewhere! -
Lovely bit of Cannon & Doyle... ...Rock On Tommy!

Think the main commentator on Foxes Hub must have been on the Xmas sherry at half time... ...second half it was Mavididly! Pretty sure Fatuwa was also pronuonced as Fatawoowoo. Shocking unprofessionalism! -

I ended up watching the QPR iFollow stream.... ...no sync problems - no choppy fan noise. Also commentators quite amusing... ... "Kieran Dewsbury-Hall - I wouldn't have that on a shirt at a £1 a letter" -
Norman Collier on crowd microphone setup duties.
-
Second half and Matt Bianco has been rightly subbed off. Imagine 10 years ago saying that England would have 4 ex-Leicester players on the pitch (I am including Kane even though it pains me to do so)... ...and Dion Dublin's Leicester flat vowels on commentary.
-
Only drawing to a team with a defender that was last seen in the 80s pop combo Matt Bianco... ...after that goal Matt Bianco needs to "Get out of his lazy bed". To be honest I have only seen Matt Bianco on the ball for about "Half a minute" in that half.

OK I have answered my own question about which teams do iFollow:- https://ifollow.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001270449-What-clubs-offer-iFollow-subscriptions- Disappointingly out of that lot - the only Championship teams I can see are Coventry, Huddersfield, Preston North End, Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday So it seems iFollow will only be of occasional use. -

I enjoyed the excellent picture quality on the stream from iFollow today (Huddersfield)... ...initially I thought the audio was out of sync but quickly realised it was Radio Leeds commentators who (thinking no one could see the action) were often slow to comment on the action. To be honest I would be quite happy to watch the rest of the season on iFollow. Can a clever person please tell me what Championship teams are signed up to iFollow for this season? -
Is the Spurs game on YouTube or just on the LCFC website?
-
Enzo Raimo - 1983-85 -(so more like mid 80s - maybe you were at Q.E earlier.

When I was at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth 1 College in the early 80s... ...there was a cool Italian lad called Enzo - so gerrimin!!!!

Ole Gunnar Solskjær apparently been in talks with the Leicester board since Friday. Just been spotted in Morrison's buying Haribo.

Surprised to see Matt Bianco playing for Ukraine to be fair... ...someone told me earlier that he hadn't got out of his lazy bed (must have got there with only half a minute to spare)

No doubt moved to Oadby for the Swinging Sporran pub at Woolco:- My dad used to play golf with Jock at Scraptoft club (never understood a word he said!).
