  1. I'm surprised the club haven't started making movements on safe standing considering United (?), Spurs, Man City, Wolves, Chelsea and now Leeds all have it installed. We know they're too risk-averse to lead on anything but I would have thought seeing those clubs go for it would instigate some action.
  2. 19 years ago today, my first ever away game. Les Ferdinand was class for us that season. https://www.premierleague.com/video/all?type=-1&se=12&cl=-1
  3. The club's ringfencing of tickets when a stadium expansion is on the horizon is just terrible business, the commercial people at the club are absolute clowns. The casual fans they're locking out now by demanding a membership are potential season ticket holders of the future, and they'll be needing their custom when we're struggling to fill the 40,000 seats in a few years.
  4. Wow, I genuinely thought he was going to drop Ward for Monday. The thought of seeing that clown on the bench has been keeping me going through work all week
  5. Agree, his analysis on Sky after the Spurs game wasn't particularly inspiring.
  6. They reformed as AFC Rushden & Diamonds around ten years ago I believe, pretty crazy seeing as they were in League One in 2003/04!
  7. They saw what was coming this season and acted accordingly. Lucky bastards!
  8. Stopped reading when he described Amartey as a 'quality back-up'!
  9. Time to stop checking this thread, the ****ers going to be here for Forest at least. Fuming, genuinely thought he was getting the axe today.
  10. They’re not going to sack him are they! I’m in disbelief. I’d happily get pumped by Forest if it means Top finally pulls the trigger. Just get him gone ffs.
  11. He’s absolutely stealing a living! No presence about him at all, ****ing shite. Praying that the new manager sees sense and starts Iversen.
  12. Keep the games on! Those who want to mourn and grieve can choose to stay home and mourn, those who work hard to spend their money on going to the football can go to the football as normal. Everyone wins! But I imagine they’ll be called off and we’ll be stuck watching wall to wall coverage of the death. Two good games on TV either side of ours at 3pm as well - gutting!
  13. How much of the ****ing goal does he want to give them to aim at every time?
  14. Hope he never plays for us again
  15. Terrible from us. Thought they were very good though, their end behind the goal didn't stop all game.
  16. It'd be so sweet if they went down after spending all this money. Please make it happen.
  17. Crazy isn't it? I'm visiting family in Northampton in September so thought I'd grab a ticket for Cobblers v Rochdale for a bit of live football - £24 in League 2! No chance.
  18. I wonder if it was worth these Madrid fans leaving early to miss the traffic
  19. Thought it was great in the section last night, credit to the UFS lads, particularly the lad with curly hair who didn't watch a minute of the game but kept chants going all night. Home games are a 5 hour round trip for me so I rarely make it down, but if a section like that became permanent or more regular I'd definitely be making the trip more often!
  20. Does anyone know if you can upgrade a member's ticket from u22 to adult? If not, do we reckon this makes general sale?
  21. They're preparing for the Championship clearly!
  22. I don't believe so. Your best bet is to get the train to Deansgate or Oxford Road, then get the tram to Old Trafford (Altrincham Line) from Deansgate Castlefield (30 secs walk from Deansgate, 5 min walk from Oxford Road).
  23. Looking for two tickets if anyone is unable to make it, can cover postage (+ a beer) or meet in Manchester on the day. Cheers
  24. Looking for 1 adult and 1 under 21 for this.
  25. Do we think he'll break into the Premier League's all-time top 10 before he retires? He's currently 14th on 128, with RVP (144), Sheringham (146), Ferdinand (149), and Owen (150) the four in front of him.
