Wilf is a fantastic servant to this club. Always just lacked that ability with the ball at his feet to make it at the very elite level and the injuries slowed him down. Could probably have taken a move like this the first time we went down, but decided to help us back up. Watching Enzo evolve him into a threat higher up the pitch was both baffling and brilliant. Best of luck to him, deserves another crack at European football.

Nah look at Jobe Bellingham. I questioned why he’d made that move when he was going to play week in week out for Sunderland this year, but I guess the attraction is skipping a relegation battle to go and play European football.

Don't think he's a normal 16 year old to be honest. Well on his way to being our best player already, and for once I don't think that's actually anything against the first team bunch. Don't think it's an exaggeration to say he's one of the very top prospects in this country.

Been impressed with Alves but I don't think he's a wide player. Get him central picking up the ball in pockets. You can see he's the kind of player where that debate would stretch on and on a la Foden or Grealish.

Did wonder if he might experiment with playing McAteer more centrally as some have suggested on here.
