  1. Yeah defo feels like that's a team of mostly players that have stated their intentions to leave, Surprised Thomas is in that team - Perhaps a fan of Kristiansen. Or he likes the Idea of Justin LB and Ricardo RB.
  2. Nah, Alves left, BEK in the 10, Evans right. Soumare x Ndidi holding.
  3. I would suggest apart from Thomas and Nelson (not fully fit) that's a line up of the back ups and those that are leaving.
  4. Going to piss the championship under a competent coach that has an emphasis on possession. Done it before.
  5. Good post and prediction, looks well balanced and a good base to work from before any incomings. Could easily swap Monga and Thomas in too.
  6. This on the whole is a great video, gets way too hung up on the space Luke Thomas is occupying though. Kind of misses the point. Marti wasn't playing Luke Thomas in that zone to get the best out of Thomas, But to facilitate Monga's strengths attacking his full back from the touchline.
  7. Even if he was desirable, isn't his injury record pretty dismal?
  8. Accepted the fact we won't get as much for him as we probably should - but he's not going for a loan to buy. We need that money now, pay up.
  9. I must have missed that appointment of Ramadaone as foxestalk’s resident Rob Dorsett.
  10. Glad some other posters provided some great contributions because this was a depressing way to start a fun thread
  11. Think it was clear today that Marti seems to want to prioritise his wingers being high and wide, than wanting those players in the inside pockets/half spaces. He’d rather Monga attacked from wide areas and Luke Thomas occupied that zone - even if it means Luke Thomas is in unorthodox areas (same with Hamza opposite side). Dangerous players in their most dangerous zones.
  12. Heavyweight division is a waste of time until Usyk jacks it in. The best of the rest (no matter who you think that is) are good, but he’s different stratosphere. Cba to watch him fight Fury again or even any of the others, the best.
  13. And saved from Cooper and Ruud’s poor imitations of it.
  14. Ultimately what I took from the first half I watched is, it basically confirmed what has already been said in this thread, that Martiball is so much more positionally fluid than Enzo ball and we’re going to see various players pop up all over the place at various points in games. To have that confirmed after 3 days of coaching is pretty damn impressive.
  15. Both. I only watched the first half and need to catch up with the second, but seemed like at different intervals, one of Thomas and Choudhury stayed back, the other went and played inside of their winger, showed in below screenshots. 1 2
  16. Christ Marti is working miracles, I’ve just seen McAteer take on his man for the first time in….. ever?
  17. Absolutely frightening how good and confident Monga is for his age.
  18. Winks happy to drop between defenders to get the ball whilst Thomas pushes on, already signs Thomas and Monga have the freedom to interchange positions. Much higher line and press than we’ve seen for the last 12 months, albeit not aggressive - heat a factor.
  19. Early observations of an in possession shape in game one… Choudhury, Coady, Faes back three. Skipp and Winks double pivot. McAteer right, El Khannouss in a right attacking midfield area, Thomas appears to be in the left sided slot allowing Monga to hug the touchline wide left - I’m sure those two will rotate as the half goes on. Daka upfront obviously and unfortunately.
  20. Skipp was poor last year at premier league level, but if you can’t see his previous performances in this league and remember the league we played in last time around and not think he’s going to be one of the best midfielders in that league this year then you need to park your agendas now. Or there will be a lot of egg on faces come may that’s your midfield partnership for the year, it’s just what number 10 plays with them.
  21. Regardless of coaching, we just need a back up regardless of Mads staying or not. So as long as we’re not being stupid on wages it’s perfect business. Be inclined to say Mads is defo off now though if it wasn’t already obvious.
  22. Player/gk coach?🤔
  23. Za-lay-ger-shegli ? Is that right?
  24. Think the contents been quite good this pre season to be honest, they’ve defo read this thread and are trying to repair the radio silence early summer.
  25. Monga is there, on the latest video on twitter.
