  1. Think Enzo has made it pretty clear from selection that Stolarcyzk is number two.
  2. Don’t let people tell you there’s no plan B. There is - it’s just subtle changes of positions and the zones players take up. A plan b doesn’t have to necessarily entail two strikers, or complete changes of formation, or even putting Harry Souttar upfront. What we saw last night and in the above clip is an Enzo’s plan b, c, d, whatever. And it worked.
  3. We’ll need to play well Monday night. Resting KDH and Faes for this one isn’t it, Rotherham if we have to.
  4. No because it’s all relative to how the opposition sets up. They literally had no intention of passing the half way line last night so we could get away with playing 6 up front.
  5. They had set up well before half time yes, but had absolutely no answer to Enzo’s half time tweak and did nothing to change the game when they went behind. They only burst into any kind of press once they pulled it back to 3-2. Negative from start to finish.
  6. That change to create the 6v5 in the last line won the game, fair play Enzo. They were comfortable defending in the first half but that change completely stumped them and they didn’t have an answer. Bravo.
  7. When you’re playing a front line of 5 in possession you need players that can absolutely kill the transition and counter attack when the ball is turned over. Hamza’s ability to cover ground and break up play is so important in this system and he’s giving Ricardo and his injury record some much needed rest. Love him.
  8. Maswanhise and Nelson staying with the first team for Weds then probably. No Alves too?
  9. Nelson has a had a tiny stall in his career over the last year between Brendan under using him in during an injury crisis and not getting a loan this year - but he has more than enough potential to be a Premier League centre half with Leicester. Needs to be managed and used correctly now be it another loan or Enzo giving him his chance.
  10. Moscardo is absolutely sensational. Next big thing out of Brazil after Endrick ofcourse. This lad Beraldo looks fantastic, Vickery’s comments are a concern mind as he knows his stuff. 17m will make the rest of the league wince but it’s only the amount of money we’ll have to spend on Doyle in June anyway. Roll on January.
  11. That piece is fantastic.
  12. Enzo would definitely tell you we’re still nowhere near where he wants us to be. But I’d be willing to bet that by the time we’ve played Plymouth, Millwall, Birmingham and Rotherham and you’re all tucking into your Christmas turkey… that we’ll be in a better position than you ever dreamed we’d be in, back in July when this place was absolutely full of hyperbole about how we’d be this season. We’ve dropped points in 4 games in 5 months. 4. And we only actually played bad in one or two of those. This is a process. We said it would take time in the summer to learn this entirely new style of play, and it clearly is to get up to some of your expectations, but we’ve still picked up plenty of results along the way. So trust that process. 4 Favourable games to get confidence back into the lads, Doyle soon back who is actually quite integral to how we play and January coming up to bring in one or two new faces of quality for the run in. Time to get our heads down.
  13. Nailed it mate.
  14. Been a big contributor to this thread but had to avoid it over the last few days as it’s been embarrassing in here. They’ll certainly make entertaining reading come may. Good performance today. Got lucky but deserved that luck. Hopefully another 6 points from the next two and we can take it up a gear to leave egg on the faces of some in here.
  15. Teams have started going man for man against us as the above article details. And we’ve just not found solutions to it as of yet - and more so without Ndidi in the side. For all Wilf lacks in technical ability, he has tactical intelligence and willing running in abundance. Take this screenshot here from that article. With Wilf in that right 8 position here instead of Ricardo, he’d be providing that bursting run into the space that Iheanacho has vacated and dragged a defender with him. A pattern of play we’ve done over and over again this season. We don’t need to over think it, Enzo hasn’t “Shat it” at all. We’ve just marginally lost two games without a key player in the side. Once Ndidi and Yunus are back we’ll be cooking again.
  16. What side does Summerville play on? Enzo seems to like switching his full backs based on the opposition threat.
  17. Probably one of my favourite ever Leicester players but comes across a right weird bloke in that interview. Poor decisions, poorly advised and shit luck have got him where he is now. Hopefully he can move on with his life now and keep his shit together.
  18. Like I said, for the above reasons. Like it or not he’s the second best defensive midfielder the country has, and the alternatives are shocking.
  19. This. Especially whilst Southgate insists on playing two 6’s - be it Henderson or Phillips alongside Rice. People moan when those two are picked, but when you look into it Winks is genuinely the next best 6 this country has after those (If you even class Henderson as a 6) our depth is awful there, and unfortunately Winks will never get a call up whilst playing in the Championship.
  20. Cheers mega mind, the challenge is finding the needle in the haystack of finding the one that actually works.
  21. Probably our worst half of the season yeah, but we've seen this so many times before already this year. 82% possession will prevail.
  22. Worst game of the season for streams. Absolutely every link is buffering, has unbearable ads or is about 5 minutes behind.
  23. Can you or anyone else with a decent link DM me please
  24. Can the dons in the singing section get one going to this tune? What a banger
  25. Tonight was all about Sunderland stopping us playing with the best press we’ve seen at the King Power this season, not through a fault of our own. Didn’t see Ricardo find too much time to actually move inside. I did think he’d swap Ricardo and Justin for tonight so Justin could lock up Clarke - worked pretty well. Mowbray set them up fantastically. If Kel and Casadei take their chances it’s 3-0 on another day mind.
