  1. Can't imagine they'll be much available in the way of public transport that night. Same as when we played Liverpool on that freezing boxing day night.
  2. Nice mention on C4 news tonight. Feature on the Republican leadership race with interviews of the American public in a bar. One particular interviewee was supporting a no-hope candidate and remarked to the British interviewer that they would know all about outsiders winning because of what happened with Lie-ces-ter City. The World Famous City. That's us.
  3. I hope not. Really don't want them halfway around the back of the goal in full view of the cameras (guessing they will be relocated to the West Stand). We give away clubs more than enough advantage already with the over generous ticket allocation.
  4. He'll need to be a forelock tugger to survive. Perhaps that was the attraction.
  5. I was rear ended on the M5 whilst in a stationary queue some years ago. The other party admitted liability but somehow my premium increased at renewal time despite having full no claims history. Apparently it made me a greater risk as I had been involved in an RTA even if it wasn't my fault.
  6. Agree with this. Perhaps the security like to have a buffer between the home/away fans at least on one side and think the families will achieve that.
  7. Definately NOT put away fans behind the goal. That would give them an advantage.
  8. 4 months, I think. Don't expect to see him until Feb.
  9. Have we been told what's up with Yunus? I thought it a bit odd when Enzo was expecting him back so soon. Even if the scan didn't show up anything of concern, a groin strain (if that's what it is) doesn't clear up in two weeks usually.
  10. Thought the match was called off last night
  11. Which match are you referring to? The one on Boxing Day when Liverpool turned us over 0-4?
  12. If that was a season ticket seat then the owner can expect to lose it.
  13. I really hope this lad is decent. It's clear that we are missing a proper no. 9.
  14. Usual predictable stuff. Team goes in front then players go down injured.
  15. Can't think of any other reason why they'd move it to a Friday night. No thought (again) for fans
  16. There does seem to be more celebrities wearing bigger and posher poppies as fashion accessories. Perhaps it's because they remember more. I'm not keen on the dual club/poppy enamel badge that some wear. Club allegiance is irrelevant at this time. That said, it doesn't really matter, as long as the wearers have donated appropriately.
  17. Unless we lose and then most will want to be away rather than singing WYS whilst watching the Dirty Leeds fans celebrating.
  18. Not sure that we'll be doing this tonight as its the remembrance silence before kick off. Can't remember if we did it before Sunderland.
  19. So tonight instead of leaving on 85 mins it's going to be on 45.
  20. The Mockery is quoting Enzo as saying that Yunus is back in full training today. The scans didn't show any issues but they rested him on Saturday as a precaution. He will be available for selection on Friday.
  21. Perhaps it is about to be sold Pearson got sacked after his first succesfull spell here because the previous owner (Milan Manderic) wanted a big name manager to sell the club to prospective buyers (King Power). Nige wasn't seen as sexy enough and not many would've heard of him in Thailand. Perhaps BCFC are looking for a 'name' to raise the clubs image to attract potential suitors. Fortunately, Rooney is already taken.
  22. I hope you don't 'rot', well not the BCFC fans anyway. The days of hundreds of fans standing outside board rooms and shouting positive encouragement and advice (ie abuse and other things) have long gone. However, socials seem to be the way to campaign to get changes and remind the owners that you have had enough. Keep up the pressure and make your feelings known on match days. What's the alternative? Boycott the club?
  23. I don't believe that King Power would've been interested in LCFC had it a resident, half owned, rugby club in it.
  24. Are you Paul Mace?
  25. Lansdown did at least try to build them a new stadium and following failure, restructured the stadium which, I'm told, is quite decent. However, sharing and giving equal status with the rugby club will end badly. Ashton Gate has been the home to the football club for decades and Lansdown's Bristol Sport enterprise has diluted the clubs influence and presence. Pearson can do better.
