  1. You don't say?! He's a coward.
  2. Half time interviews. When did they start up?
  3. The amount of times our crosses were crying out for a poacher to finish yesterday was insane. Like you say, if a proper #9 is playing, he's on the end of at least 1 or 2. His decision making and attitude are an absolute joke. If he was scoring frequently he'd have lots more leeway. But he's just being a hindrance to the team now.
  4. Wolves had a couple in first half, but very tame
  5. Which side is gonna shit house a victory? Don Goodman saying 'Newcastle need a Haaland on the end of a cross, someone of that ilk' as if they're just floating around at several clubs and he's not a once in a generation player
  6. We need him more than he needs us, and the imbalance is heavy to one side. He'll be a decent player in the PL fairly soon. Definitely won't be with us beyond May.
  7. I don't know how often Newcastle have persisted with this but just to satisfy Gordon, they've nullified one of their most dangerous players on current form. Disappointing.
  8. I don't know who was on Talksport a couple of hours ago as I don't listen to it too much but it was the same old guff spouted in the media generally re: Palace fans/Glasner. Why are they so angry at the owners - the owners and Glasner got them to the FA Cup and to Europe, they should be grateful... God forbid fans want to extend that success by showing ambition and continuing to expect more from the club. Always the fans that should be shot down.
  9. Pleasantly surprised at seeing the Seahawks score! Didn't think it'd be so easy!
  10. This guy was on something today and it wasn't anything good. His ambling about at times, positional sense is woeful, doesn't actually help teammates. There were three occasions that stand out. Mavididi gets the ball in space in first half, goes down the wing as he should. Not much support to the right of him towards goal. What does Ayew do? Instead of drag defenders away and run towards goal, he comes back to behind Mavididi where Thomas would usually be. Delusional decision. Second is when Stephy was running through, and instead of making himself mobile he was just walking around as Stephy ran past him. Lazy and selfish play. Third was actually the earliest in the game of his terrible and selfish play. We're on the up, momentum with us playing nice slick one-touch passing, he decides to hold on to the ball, miscontrol it and ends up getting tackled. He is the epitome of a player that has no one else in mind but himself. Big ego, arrogant swagger at times but nothing to show for it. Barely ever looks happy to be at the club and demonstrates a forlorn figure. He may run around a bit and show glimpses of good play, but it's becoming rarer. He may not be the biggest issue, but he's a big contributor to why we are so inconsistent and why we have such a bad mentality around the squad.
  11. Someone needed to give Ayew a bollocking at regular points today.
  12. Do you know another thing that actually pisses me off about this? We know where they usually land, so why not stick one of the CBs there?! And if the odd long one does go further, you have it pretty much in the positions that defenders don't like to defend and where attackers do like to have it drop?! It's just amateur all round.
  13. And Danny Ward, technically. That's even more embarrassing.
  14. He's not. But I'd still play him there.
  15. Need a LB sharpish. A striker, equally so. Shamelessly bad in those positions for a club that thinks it should be aiming for promotion.
  16. They've losing at home to a side in the bottom 3. Enter Leicester to get them back on track...
  17. Yep, that's what I'm blaming him for. First half can be on some of the players. But the pattern we play is so easy to play against. We start well, soak up some pressure against us, come out with a bit more urgency and know that we're so soft and easy to target. Not being able to keep a clean sheet for 22 (?) games in a row (!!!) and there's serious issues.
  18. Bad, bad manager. Too many times bailed out by good players and fleeting moments. Being unable to get your side to play with any consistency, or solidly for a full game, is a terrible sign of a 'manager'.. Not a chance he's the one to take us anywhere. Get rid of him.
  19. Mentally and physically weak. Too easy to let them back in the game. Ayew with one of his stinkers. Too regular it happens now.. Thomas with another too. Horrible player.
  20. Marti, fvcking walk. Lost that in the first half when we didn't take chances. Weak second half. Standard.
