Just give him a chance Marti! He may make mistakes but at least we can see he's growing, improving and wants to be at this club. What is the point in playing faes when he's out of contract at the end of the year and would jump ship tomorrow if he had the chance.
-
Happy so far, a proper striker up top and James in midfield have made a huge difference. For all his crapness, the best I've seen is play this season has tended to be when daka is on the pitch stretching the defence for those around him. Bobby looking good too TBF. Best first half of the season?
-
Are they really the most hated government in history though? Or is that just what you want people to believe? I'm all for saying there's still improvements to be made but I think you might be over exaggerating slightly.

I'm going out on a limb here, I don't like to be so open and put myself out there, and the issue of digital ID cards is such an important issue that it's time I take a stand and speak my truth... .... I really don't care and can't see the big deal either way.

Finding the leak is the hard bit. But it can be anywhere in the system. Mine was in the living room behind the plasterboard, when they'd put the stud wall up as a new build they put the nail right through the pipe leading to the radiator but it took 14 years for it to actually leak. As soon as I found the issue, which just happened to be hiding behind a curtain as well, it was an easy fix. But it took me a month or two to find the leak and was constantly topping up the pressure in that time.

He's a current first team player, he may not be great but I'd rather using any money we have to get someone better in and this lad be back up then waste money needing a back up as well. Add in the fact he's a local lad, these are the players we want in around the squad. Yes he's not the best left back in the league but he's solid enough at this level and gets replaced if we go up.
-
Same thing happened to me a few months ago, I think I mentioned it on this thread if you look back. Anyway, tiny leak in the system kept draining the pressure. Finally noticed the mould behind the curtain that showed me where the leak was as it was behind the plaster board. Easy fix though once found 👍

It gets compared to the Tories because he's been sacked and dealt with, yet the Tories are still on the offensive. All point scoring I know but I'm still trying to work out what he's done wrong?
-
Ok, serious question here, I understand the optics and that he had to go, but what has Mandelson actually done wrong that has negatively effected this country? My understanding (and I may have missed something) is that he was best friends with Epstein, suckered in like many others were. Once convicted he stood by his friend, questioned the conviction, he says he hadn't seen anything along the lines of what he was being convicted for and ultimately he took Epstein's word at face value. He definitely showed poor judgement in this regard and hindsight shows it was a big error. So yes, poor judgement, yes poor optics, ok lose you job, but is that it? This is coming from a Tory party that cost the tax payer Billions of pounds, lining their mate's pockets and is a huge reason why our economy is so ****ed. Not to mention all the sleaze and scandal from Boris et al. What am I missing?

Local boy from Whitwick, came to our school for the summer fete once. Will always go down as the legendary hot dog kid. Sad to hear he is so unwell.

I don't do social media, foxestalk is all I've seen. Agree if it's happening on there 👍

Who's celebrating? I've seen nothing of the sort...

People doing better in these situations fixes nothing. America needs to do better but it's broken and worst of all doesn't even realise it. Civil war is a real possibility over there in the next few years. I don't know about this guy, but trump et al use politics to divide, not bring together and that's the disgrace here not some random reaction on the internet. I said in my last post, around 12k gun deaths in America this year, what makes this one guy different when he himself said those deaths were worth it to protect second amendment rights.
-
So they still don't know who killed him and they don't know why. Yet the potus, one of the most powerful men in the world has already turned it into a political football and it's the left who are bonkers. I'd never heard of this guy before if I'm honest and whilst it's sad, he's just one of around 12000 Americans who will be shot to death in 2025. That country has a problem and it seems he was a part of it. Didn't deserve to die for it, but you reap what you sow.

Good to see the younger guys out on loan, for me alves and braybrooke were the big 2. Getting then regular game time will be huge. I was hoping Briggs and cover would get a loan too. Anyone else we think should be out on loan this year?
-
Boom! That's the one I wanted!
-
Doesn't look like bray Brooke got a loan out either, so he's still here. It is possible winks or soumare still goes to turkey, there window closes later than ours. Same with wout.

Newports got some great places to go. It is generally a bit grim but it ain't all bad -
Yet! There's still an hour and a half to **** it up
-
Still so much potential, but that injury set him back massively, no doubt about it. I think he's gonna go there and have a great season. It will be just what he needs to kick start his career. You can see there's still something there, but regular game time to convert that something into actual goals and assists and allow him to build upon the other side of the game, defensive work rate which is also super important these days. Huddersfield are a good side and will be up there this year in league one, good move and I hope it's just what the young lads needs
-
Loan with an option is perfect, good fee if he does well and only 21. Get this over the line
-
Desperate for someone like this to come in. The gap between the attacking players and the midfield is way to big. We can bemoan the fact that daka and ayew haven't scored yet this season, but how many chances have we created for them? For me this guy is target number 1

Ah fair enough, that does make more sense. I'm a bit on the fence tbh. As much as I despise what the Israelis are doing, I can understand I may feel alot different if I was an Israeli. I'm probably more of the thinking that he is entitled to his opinion on the situation, and whilst I may strongly disagree with it, it shouldn't stop him playing football. I'd rather hear and debate arguments I agree with, than shut them down.
-
Has he said something in particular on the issue? Or is it just a case of people overreacting because of where he comes from? Just because he's Israeli doesn't automatically mean he supports what the government are doing in gaza. Unless he's said something to support it?
