I'm not keen on Cooper. But our squad is struggling at this level. That's on the board. Nobody bar a Maresca level manager is going to get more out of them and that's if they even want to come here and see us as a fit for their ambitions. And if there is a proven manager like that going then I'd like someone to point them out. What I will say for Cooper is that he is reminding me of Nigel Pearson in the great escape season, and that's a good thing. He's making the most of what he has got, clearly he has the players on board with what he is trying to do and he is building a good spirit within the squad. He has no issue with players getting forward on counters. There may be a time to sack him this season, but this early stage is not it. He needs time. The board stuck with Pearson all those years ago when a big proportion of fans wanted him gone and it paid off. Lets see where we are at Christmas before writing him off.

We could have been 3-0 down at half time. We've got to be tighter if we are to compensate for our lack of squad investment. But the team shown character to come out fighting second half. Vardy, Fatawu, Kristiansen you can tell that these are the players who will refuse to be passive.

Good shit. Alot will be made of Fatawu but I thought that was Vardys best game of the season too. It was like he rolled the clock back 10 years. His pressing and runs were faultless. Hopefully Enzo sees the value in setting up for the counter now.

This IS NOT a mid Prem squad. ****ing hell do you even know about football? We lost Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans, Schmeichel, Vardy (to age), Fofana, Soyuncu. Ricardo and Justin are solid but their injuries limits what their potential used to be. They were our players keeping us top half. The likes of Forest wouldn't even take Iheanacho off us for 8mill. Where are the mid table clubs looking to try and take our players right now?

Can only assume there has been nobody at the club since Vichai that has an iron grip on the finances or the wages. Under Vichai, Pearson or Walsh, there is no circumstance where Hamza fkin Choudhary would have blagged himself a 60k pw contract. He's barely worth a third of that. Also, with those accounts I assume we are waiting on instalments and appearance fees for lots of players. The likes of Fofana surely owes us about £20m still.

I feel like Enzo has isolated half the squad. Cannon Raikhy Albrighton Marcal Akgun Praet Coady All started the FA cup win over Bournemouth a month ago with a spirited performance. Not been seen since as Enzo sticks to his favourite lineup regardless of how they perform. Those players are probably pissed off.

Ref was shite. Seemed to have forgotten football is a contact sport and it's not a foul when somebody pressures a player who intentionally falls to the ground whilst shielding the ball to win a free kick.

Let's have it right, we only have a few players who are Premier League standard, and even then you're only talking bottom half. KDH (just about - he's one footed af) Winks Faes Justin Ricardo Coady Ndidi The rest are either shite, past it, unproven or top half Championship standard. In the areas that matter, centre back, out wide and upfront we are seriously lacking in proven quality and end product. Enzo's tactics caught many off guard in the early season and masked the weaknesses in our squad. The lack of strengthening in January is a huge risk that the club took.

Most teams are playing this style now. There's nothing special about us trying to do it. Having the most talented players we can get and the right characters in charge is what will make the difference over the next couple of years.

Talk about bad officiating and bad luck with the deflections but ultimately complacency and lack of quality up front cost us the game there. Fatawu, Mavididi, Daka, McAteer They're not going to be good enough if/when we go up. I hope Rudkin is paying attention to this. Give Enzo whoever he needs.
