  1. Eric Dier coming on??? He’s awful! Bring on Loftus-Cheek
  2. In his interview he said ‘yes we beat Manchester City three years ago’ When he said ‘We’ i nearly shed a tear at 5.47
  3. Would be a real shame if anything happened to this. Did the Kante part get re-painted?
  4. Thanks for the memories Riyad
  5. Thank you Mahrez
  6. This doesn’t make me scream gerrimin either but he could be our wingback version of Victor Moses. Pretty muck but gets the job done
  7. Yarmolenko linked to West Ham for 20m. Not had the best season at Dortmund but apparently he doesn’t fit their style of play. A lot of fans have asked for an experienced player to replace Mahrez. Yarmolenko is one of the very few available who can potentially fit into that category.
  8. Nah loan him to a newly promoted team in the prem. If he does well we can sell him for a lot of profit next summer if we don’t want to keep him.
  9. He looks a lot better in a 3 at the back system
  10. What’s happening with Roberts?
  11. If he was fully fit I’d take him back as he’d have a point to prove. A fully fit Danny is better than Silva, Iborra and most CM’s outside the top six. But that’s a big if, as he seems to have been injured a lot recently. £15-20m maximum though. Chelsea can’t seriously expect to get any more than that.
  12. Hmmm if he is going out on loan, i’m wondering which promoted team would be best for his development? Wolves - They play 3 at the back, so he’d be surplus to requirements at RWB. He might get into their back 3, but they have already have Coady, Boley and also their club captain for their CB positions. Think he’d have to work his way into the team. Cardiff - Playing in a low block might help his defensive qualities. You need good positioning, awareness and intelligence to succeed in a low block - all qualities Amartey currently lacks. But Warnock will drill those qualities into him, the nasty bugger. Fulham - They set up similar to Puel’s style of play. That could be a good thing for Amartey’s development, as he’d be able to get used to the tactics of a similar system to Puel’s. Conclusion - Definitely not Wolves. You’d expect them to sign another CB if they haven’t already, not just Amartey. Fulham makes the most sense stylistically but although they’re positive with the ball, it’s not Amartey’s on the ball ability i’m worried about. I’d actually like to see him at Cardiff. He needs to improve his defensive qualities and quite frankly, his footballing brain. What better way than in a team who’s playing with their backs to the wall and throwing bodies on the line, week in week out.

    Ahmed Musa

His best two games for us was at LW (against Palace and Spurs). Maybe it’s time we finally replaced Lloyd Dyer...
  14. He can play any attacking position. According to who scored he played 26 times on the right and 7 times upfront last season. Would be an expensive buy for sure, his stats are impressive.
  15. I’d make several changes to be honest. Rose for Young Loftus-Cheek for Alli Vardy for Sterling Cahill for Walker
  16. Did no one else just see Cambiasso? Didn’t realise he was on Colombia’s coaching staff
  17. Mistake bringing Dier on. Kane and Vardy aren’t going to get many chances now. Rose and Rashford should be the next subs tbh, we’re gonna have to shithouse our way through this one.
  18. Henderson tried to con the ref, what’s the difference between what Henderson did and Neymar?
  19. He plays more like a striker for Spurs, but for England he’s being asked to play as a box to box CM of sorts. Bit stupid of us to play with only one natural CM tbh.
  20. Would love to see Vardy play but he needs service. His pressing and running the channels would cause problems for Colombia’s defence but to use Vardy effectively he needs service! This team has no creativity and can’t create opportunity from open play.
  21. Christ ! We really are reliant on set pieces eh. Missing that creative spark, maybe Maddison can solve that issue in a couple years time ..
  22. We’re a bit basic at creating chances from open play and tbf that’s been the case the whole tournament bar the Panama match.
  23. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case. Diabate on the right and another lowkey gem from France for the LW spot wouldn’t be the end of the world. I know it’s risky but we will need to sign unproven talent as Mahrez’s replacement, because we aren’t going to be splashing 60m on a proven winger like some fans want.
