  1. Bramley Simpson, Morgan, Evans, Chilwell Iborra, Choudhury Diabate, Maddison, Gray Eppiah Second half: Jakupovic Amartey, Hughes, Evans, Fuchs Mendy, Choudhury Diabate, Barnes, Albrighton Eppiah
  2. Apparently he uses public transport to get to training/matches Could be another humble one like N’Golo
  3. Deadwood: Amartey, Benalouane, King, Mendy, Kapustka, Musa, Slimani, Ulloa Realistically we are unlikely to get rid of all of these players, so here’s a better question: Which players that are deadwood can you see us keeping? I’d say possibly Amartey, as he could be 4th choice CB or back up RB if Simpson decides to leave. Think we’ll also keep Benaloune as 4th or 5th choice CB. He’ll probably play more u23 games than senior games . Also Mendy as 5th choice with James pushed to 6th choice whilst he’s injured. One of them to go in January. That means we’re going to have a big squad again, probably around 27/28 players.
  4. Hopefully, but Pellegrini is a good manager so I’m not sure.
  5. Wonder if we will sign both Alireza and Roberts? Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t some ITK’s confirm we’re very interested in Roberts.. If we sign both our attacking options will be: RW: Roberts, Diabate CAM/ST: Maddison, Okazaki, Barnes LW: Alireza, Albrighton, Gray CF: Vardy, Iheanacho That is a lot of competition, Barnes would probably need to go out on loan for game time.
  6. England have had fewer shots on target from open play per 90 mins than every team bar Iran.
  7. Today was pay day and i’ve now saved 10k this year which will hopefully come in handy for a future start up. Written my notice to get away from my awful job and boss. Plan to hand it in on Monday .
  8. Interesting, thank you.
  9. I’d like to think it’s the informed who make up a large percentage of swing voters, people picking sides based on thorough research but I wonder how many swing votes are due to propoganda? I don’t know if theirs been any studies or evidence to show this. But I remember driving to the coast before the Brexit vote and seeing big signs on the side of the road about millions of asylum seekers in Turkey being able to live in the UK via the EU. To think how how many votes those signs must have swung..
  10. Was at a conference the other week and one of the presentations was about the trans movement. He said the reason why there was a rise in hate crime against trans people globally was directly because of Donald Trump. I didn’t want to get into a debate at the time, but how do you quantify the data to make such a sweeping statement Trump gets a lot of abuse (some is called for admittidely) but uninformed attacks like that are a bit OTT no?
  11. Does anyone else find it strange we basically have to pick a side, left, right, conservative, liberal.. This isn’t football, why do we have to stick by a side blindly. There are many out there that will stick by one party and always vote for them. Yes we can vote for other smaller parties, but we always get told (from the beginning of young adulthood) that these parties never win so there’s no point voting for them. Identity politics seems to be rife, especially around voting time. Sorry if this was random.
  12. IMO I actually don’t think pace is a massive factor in Puel’s system. Good passing, movement, creating space and footballing intelligence will be pivotal to unlocking the many parked buses we will face.
  13. If he’s better on the left it might be ok for us because Gray hasn’t really progressed and Albrighton isn’t someone we can rely on for goals/creativity.
  14. Ok thank you
  15. Against Portugal you were 1-0 down and chasing the game. If he was so good why would you have taken him off at 70mins when you needed a result to go through.
  16. Didn’t he sit out the Spain game in the group stage because of injury as he was stretchered off against Morocco? Against Portugal he was subbed off at the 70min mark. Was he still injured? Because you don’t sub off your best player if you’re chasing a game.
  17. Apparently his best position for AZ is left wing, not right according to an AZ fan.
  18. Apparently he’s had some bad/regular injuries over the years? Can any Iranian fan confirm that? Its’s a bit crazy that Mahrez never got injured. But recently we seem to be interested in players that have had bad injuries? Maddison, possibly this lad, Roberts, etc. It’s always a worry if players are injury prone.
  19. Shane

    Maguire

One of Simpson/Amartey Benalouane Elder King Mendy Musa Kapustka Ulloa Slimani Are all deadwood and need to go. That’s a lot of players to shift with only 3 weeks to go.
  20. His shot to goal ratio is pretty poor. If I recall correctly, Vardy’s the best in the league. Like you say those moments are the difference.
  21. We had no midfield. Asking Dele Alli/Lingard to rotate slotting into that second CM role alongside Henderson was going to get found out eventually. Henderson has done superb to hold the midfield together this tournament, but when Dier came on we lost the midfield battle. Neville got it spot on, we’re probably only short of a CM next to Henderson who can create from the middle and pick out a defence splitting pass.
  22. Did glen hoddle just say that’s a fantastic tackle by Pickford? He took Mandzukic out
  23. Henderson has bottled it imo. Wanted to be taken off so he doesn’t have to miss another pen
