Not at all, I’ve been waiting all summer to see a fresh team that plays with purpose. Not one that still can’t attack and still can’t defend corners. We have no threat and players that are a shadow of their former selves. It’s frustrating and sad.

Even though most would have wanted to see Mendy play as Youri was that bad. The effort and charisma from Mendy on the pitch was night and day compared to Tielemans head shaking and lethargic movement. We owe him a fast return to the premier league and a chance to pump 4 past Villa. Wishful thinking.

Youri was embarrassing last season. For me the biggest disappointment of everyone and the most “I don’t give a ****“ of them all except Brendan. I hope Villa cream in this season. Unfortunately I don’t think they will. Just wish we’d have taken steps to sack BR and go for someone like Emery when we had the chance. But **** Youri. He genuinely annoys me now. Absolutely piss poor character from that man.

The reason for using finance companies is to keep the asset register value lower and puts the cost straight in to the profit and loss account. This is done to improve cash flow, keeps you looking cash rich and therefore more appealing to buyers, because obviously King Power are about to sell up. Or, we’re just skint. Or I have no idea but I was fun to make up. I’m going back to sleep.

Nothing will beat that summer with M&M for signings. Was absolute carnage with 17 names per day and most of them being signed.

We’ve been burned with last year of contract players just this very past season. He doesn’t owe us any loyalty and even Everton might be appealing to him. Whether we think he’s good enough or would tear up the Championship or not is kinda irrelevant if he wants to stay in the PL.

If Daka leaves I reckon it’ll be like Kramaric. I haven’t seen who if anyone he is linked with but could see him going back to Europe and a regaining goal scoring form. I still think he has a chance to come good here. But I still also think despite any stats that he’s spent a lot of time on the floor and his first touch and general play has had the look of a man with zero confidence.

Literally the only thing that screams keep Barnes is the fact he’s a wide player and **** me we’ve struggled in that department for far too long. Has Kelechi got no interest from elsewhere? Surely someone would want him. The others I’m not bothered about other than it’s a lot of numbers vanishing.

Thought Maddison would be worth more but with only one year on the contract who knows. The fact Man U have been arguing with Chelsea over a 55m fee for Mount and didn’t switch target to Maddison says something about the top4 opinion on him. Even Newcastle who weren’t offering much more than that last year (twice) didn't come back in this time. Let’s just have a laugh and go with what’s been said already. He’s the perfect fit for spuds with his injury record and ability to go missing. Coady and Winks… don’t know. It’s not mega money really is it and at champ level, could both be good. Maybe Winks is one of those good players treated badly that we used to get and will find his feet. It’s weirdly more interesting watching what kinda squad we’ll build to get back up after the whole shit contract scenario we found ourselves in. Imagine how bad it would have been watching us trying to build another squad to stay in the PL.

I’ve left for military and won’t be back. Only go because my parents are still there and my dad and bro go with his season ticket. My most regular seasons on my own/with friends were probably 07-12. Saw us win league one. Completely missed the PL. Did quite a bit as a kid as well. Bagged a mascot appearance. Went to play off finals and league cups. We were also regulars watching the foxy ladies at FNF. The good old days!
