  1. Lascelles giving his captain a bollocking there, love it.
  2. Next goal is massive here.
  3. Feel for King, train all week then a brainfart and it’s all to do.
  4. Luke Thomas at parties now after 8yrs of elite recorder lessons.
  5. Compare it to the match vs Charlton. I reckon we’re stronger at GK, CB, midfield, striker and sub options. Still shaky down the left but hoping Skipp can support there and Lascelles talking can help. All in really pleased King has at least had the balls to try something.
  6. Think this is my favourite time of match day, about 20mins before the team is announced and you’re still full of hope and optimism 🤩
  7. Pains me slightly to add some of these in but feel like we need to try and win the midfield and sit back a bit and counter attack. Stolarcyrk Ricardo (or even Aluko) Lascelles Nelson Kristiansen Skipp Winks Aribo Fatawu Daka Mavididi
  8. Security guard at Greggs, nuff said.
  9. Not directly related, but you look at the table now and those losses to Oxford and Charlton look even more inexcusable.
  10. Big game and team selection for King. First match felt a little lazy/safe; don’t rock the boat, keep everyone happy etc. If it wasn’t for an Okoli brainfart it may have worked. He’s now got new players to consider, some fan discontent to certain players and a massive need to start picking up points. Got some big calls to make this on formation, tactics, starting 11 and also subs - over to you Kingy!
  11. Just having the four new faces in training has got to result in a step up in intensity. Lots of players may have been a bit complacent before, but showing what you can do in front of a new player and having competition for your place must naturally raise standards. A rising tide lifts all boats!
  12. So paraphrasing slightly, what I'm hearing is he's currently a winger but Kings going to transform him into a striker as basically the next Theirry Henry. Gotcha!
  13. He’s 6’2” as well so quite a unit. Can’t remember the last tall fast striker we had. Given his youth career and lack of real game time I’m expecting him to be a bit raw but let’s see. Let’s be honest, the bar is low!
  14. Like an interim manager? Which can be permanent apparently 🤯
  15. Big day for him yesterday. Set a new PB for signings in a day, beating his previous best by 3.
  16. “They”… stay safe, don’t use social media while driving!
  17. Based on 3 parts hope and 1 part YouTube videos I reckon he’s going to be great and our starting 10 by the end of the season. Already hoping we extend the loan for next year as well!
  18. Glad to hear we've spread our best practise throughout the King Power group!
  19. Given we have Thomas, VK and Aluko at LB we literally don’t have room in the squad for more. You’d assume if VK was fit he’d have been sold but this isn’t Championship Manager when we can sign another and put one of those in the reserves. And we signed 2 players, albeit unproven, who can play as a striker.
  20. Toss of a coin really; if we get Southampton Aribo we’ve lost, Rangers Aribo and we’ve won. As long as we’ve made no commitments on contracts with him I’m fine to see how he gets on.
  21. Not sure I agree with your priorities sorry. Left back we have Thomas, Aluko and VK who is coming back from injury. Unless we moved one on (probably the plan with VK but he got injured) who is going to come here to compete with that. CDM we already have Skipp, Winks and Hamza. What we lack with JJ out is any form of creativity or goal threat from midfield. So an 8 and competition for Page and BDCR is welcome imo. Then with Souttar seemingly out and Faes leaving we have essentially three CBs; Nelson, Vesty and Okoli. None of which have any leadership qualities and can also be frail defending. Striker, agreed!! We’re also a very small team (or look it) who frequently seem to get bullied. Of the four potential signings Mukasa is the shortest at 5’11”. Are they the right players? Will they work out? Who knows until they play, but I can see the logic behind them.
  22. Other than Morgan being 4yrs younger and pretty much injury free before we signed him.
  23. Enzo turning up at Seagrave for his interview and seeing the state of the squad these days…
  24. If fit he’s a cracking signing; experienced, powerful, leadership, determined. Basically everything we’ve been lacking in defence. However the past few years suggest this is an absolutely massive if. Just hope whatever contract we offer reflects this.
