I’m frightened for Boxing Day

I was on the Ely to London train the week before with the 50 something wife,not drinking G&T and both directions sat near idiots. First women from Wisbech.Slagging off friends,work colleagues,boyfriends the whole way. way back listening to the” amazing bullshitting man” where everything he said was a lie ,and all I wanted to do was correct him.The women who he was with thought he was brilliant.From his 12” appendix scar to BT charging him 4K a year for his internet as he lives in the sticks to earning £250k a year as a forklift driver,but does a lot of overtime. Had to change at Cambridge North and he got on our train again,I got the next carriage.

I did that then. Then to make the mood better they had closed the A14 after Kettering and gave me a 34mile detour.

The worrying thing is I’m a really sore loser and I just sat there for 10 minutes afterwards ,as I’m on crutches and just accepted it,against our rivals.Thats how I’m feeling about our club. A foggy,diversion filled journey home still didn’t rile me.They have made me numb.

Lad at school some 40 years ago last name was Fletcher. We called him Twang. Not that amusing to most,but as he had violent tendencies and would go down the corridor punching randomly it was most hilarious. we obviously had to pretend we were firing a bow aswell.
