  1. Winks is such a huge upgrade on him in that role. He’d have been just as pointless in this division as he was in the PL. Will never understand why people were sad to see Mendy go. All he ever did was play the simplest easiest passes to get his pass success % up and some seemed to think that was the sign of being a good midfielder as he kept it “ticking over”, when he was constantly breaking down counter attacks and missing chance creating opportunities by refusing to ever play anything remotely forward thinking or risky. He was the perfect Brendan ball player who could pass it around 7,000 times a game without ever doing anything of note with those passes.
  2. To those who say “the Tories are a liberal party not true conservatives”, there’s your dose of conservatism and anti-liberalism for you.
  3. Guy’s still in his 30s, spending the next 60 years sitting round the house or going to pubs telling people “I was a footballer once” would get boring pretty fast. Need something to do
  4. Still does not list which territories people can watch from or not. There are going to be people buying match passes because they want to watch their team play and it has already started, not knowing if they can watch the game or not. It is an absolute shambles not to list which territories you can watch or not.
  5. So far, they still haven't updated the website about which territories the Leeds game will and won't be shown in other than it's not in UK & Ireland, which is a bit frustrating for those of us outside UK & Ireland atm. Territories List | Foxes Hub | Leicester City (lcfc.com) Still just says territory information outside UK & Ireland will be updated in due course.
  6. Was just looking at his appearences and as much as we talk about his goals record, I noticed he's #7 on our list of all-time most appearances and only played 8 games less than Steve Walsh and 18 games less than Mark Wallington who are 2 players associated with incredible longevity here. Barring injury, he's going to overtake both in terms of appearances this season. Just shows what an incredible servant he's been.
  7. It’s Marc Al-fright-on
  8. Kind of expected. Remember Pearson said he was a complex character when he won our POTY award. Feel like he lost interest in football after he left us.
  9. Burnley were also a “bounce back” established PL side who also eased the league and looked like they’d break the points record until they took their foot off the gas after being promoted with so many games to spare. I’m not convinced it’s going to be that simple. I mean, Ndidi looked out of his depth at PL for the past 2 seasons and now he’s suddenly making it look easy. Ditto Faes and Vestegaard. Vardy looked past it at PL level but still banging them in here. Many were unsure about whether KDH was really PL quality last season, now he’s got the most goal contributions in the division. There’s a lot of players who didn’t look at all convincing last season who are destroying this league. I’m not so sure they’re suddenly going to be good PL players now when we go up. And let’s be honest, take Maddison and Barnes out the side last season and we would’ve scored about half the goals we did and been cut adrift at the bottom by a long way, they were the only 2 creating and scoring goals last season and we’ve not really replaced them yet. I do think we’ll need some serious investment in the spine of the team if we go up, especially in attacking/creative areas. Don’t think we’ll stay up with ease as some are suggesting. I think like Burnley, this current side would struggle to create and score at PL level.
  10. People used to slaughter Southgate for picking Tyrone Mings when Villa were in relegation battles. Of course he’d get slaughtered by picking a Championship player.
  11. Guys. He’s having a great season but some seriously over the top posts on here. If he’d been called up to England while playing for Ipswich or Leeds, we’d all be calling Southgate and idiot and a shill. 13th best dm in the world? Don’t be daft You obviously can’t compare stats in the second tier directly to the top tier given the difference in opposition. He’s been great for us and I think there’s a good chance he makes the step up assuming we get promoted next season, although I don’t think it’s a certainty, but he shouldn’t be anywhere near in the England squad right now.
  12. It wasn’t violent conduct don’t be daft. Neither was a red card, but both were blatant yellows. It was good officiating and clearly the right decision
  13. This is why I don’t get why people say they’ll be genuinely unhappy with 2nd. All it takes is one mediocre performance and Ipswich are on our tails again. Promotion is all that matters ultimately, don’t understand why someone wouldn’t be happy with promotion because it wasn’t emphatic (sp?) enough.
  14. Huh? That was a great piece of officiating, what are you talking about? Not many officials would give 2 yellows at the same time but both were blatant yellows.
  15. Why is it a farce? 2 yellows was the correct decision. Not many refs would give 2 yellows at the same time like that
  16. Good officiating.
  17. Correct decision from the ref. It was 2 yellows
  18. Surely the qpr player should be off. One for the foul abd one for the push?
  19. He’s a decent player but Justin stinking the place out today.
  20. Who is this co commentator on foxes hub? ”when you don’t expect it is when you should expect it, because that’s when it comes to you” I’ve tried to make sense what this guy is on about and can’t get ny head round it
  21. Kramaric didn’t end up making us regret him leaving though. He always sat second fiddle to Vardy and while a good player, never became as good as him and was never getting in our side. And he probably wouldn’t have been as good had he not left and sat on the bench for years anyway. Daka is currently 3rd choice behind 2 strikers clearly better than him. He’s unlikely to become as good as them and even if he is, it won’t be while sitting on the bench after them. He won’t make us regret anything, if he leaves and ends up better than Vardy and Iheanacho, which I think is very unlikely, it will be *because* he left and got extra time to develop rather than sitting on the bench here or illogically and stupidly throwing him in the side ahead of 2 better strikers in the hope that he may eventually become better than them.
  22. That rule has been changed now because of how Chelsea operated.
  23. Yes of course. You’d genuinely feel “unhappy” with getting promoted? It won’t be the same as winning the league but “not being happy” as a result of promotion is just daft.
  24. Exactly
  25. Combat is difficult before level 5, after that it becomes quite easy. There’s a lot of stuff in early game that can kill you before you even get a chance with bad initiative roles. After level 5, as long as you have a couple of casters with good area of effect spells the game becomes quite easy Or that’s my personal experience anyway.
