  1. He's an absolute weapon, but not sure about cvnt even witht he son comment. I saw him do a talk at a trade show last year and like the article he spent decent amount of time plugging his wellness business, bit on how people need to learn to cook and the rest of it telling the audience how he bet 'they didn't expect that' in relation to his topics like he was doing something groundbreaking. Q&A was really awkward as he clearly thinks he's a smooth operator, but in hindsight & like his Saturdays, was v Partridge.
  2. I wonder if its one of those where as personnel/regimes change, each new one wants to make its mark by implementing new rules. ie when you get a new boss at work and they want to change things just because. Few decades of that and we end up with overly complex rules, rather than improved enforcement of the rules that worked well for ages. TBH it still annoys me when offside changed from any attacking player in an offsiede position would cause a flag immediately to 'interfering with play' and phase x/y/z or whatever it is now. Just added a layer of subjectivity that might only cause a few issues in the PL, but what about down the park or Sunday league...
  3. Wow - amazing level of transparency that we can only dream of. I know nothing of Port Vale so could be bollocks, but sounds sincere to me
  4. Not really that arsed about the kit, but please some of the nice training hoodies without FBS or their replacement shite all over them
  5. Stoke manager looks like type of bloke who is permanently resident in a flat room pub and can 'sort out' anything you need to buy
  6. That diagonal pass was peak. Always wanted him to do well. Now he's like the pair of pants at the back of the drawer - think you'll use them at some point but others keep getting put in front. Then when you wear them they don't quite fit.
  7. Congrats Top, hopefully Rudders makes it back from being ring bearer to sign off on Sensi deal
  8. TBH I think we look much better without Whelan in the side, granted I didnt see today but not sure shes at the level
  9. Delighted for Maidstone, but singing Adele in the changing rooms after - WTF?!
  10. Yep, most of the time just gets its and crosses. Like our goal
  11. Suprised as I thought cags would be really good under Simeone
  12. Bet he makes a mean cup of tea.
  13. Gareth Williams. Hot prospect at Forest, we get him for something like £500k at tribunal which from memory they thought was robbery. Played in perhaps the most lightweight midfield 2 we've ever had with Stephen Hughes, injured a bit, off to Watford, then?
  14. Doesn't need repeating as it seems a common opinion, but I will anyway - commentators desperate need to trot out scripted lines. Its like every commentator is desperate for their kenneth wolstenholme line that will be replayed over & over, but the thing about that was it was quick witted & off the cuff. Anyone can read a line thats been written for them by a researcher to cover a probable situation. Only exception being the 'Leicester hit back like champions' Tyler line that even if prepped ready to troy out still gets me. Would do away with it and just have crowd noise, or maybe thats the next AI application - a generic commentary voice that can just describe what is happening without giving opinion I don't want to hear. Pundits are 90% shite as well - I love the streams that just play the first half highlights on loop, much rather have that than Michael Owen or whoever talking shite. And whoever mentioned Jonathan Pearce bravo, should have been left to do Robot Wars - to be a standout irritant as a commentator is an achievement
  15. O'Hare looks like he would smell Bad day at the office, shame to lose to 2 of the stinkiest clubs (these & Leeds) Lee Hendrie is a moron
  16. Oh well, poor performance and hopefully Abdul will learn to keep his head. Love the singing of 'top of the league, having a laugh' though - we're on for getting near to a points record...
  17. TBH I don't mind the beer that much but do feel its overpriced, but I jkust think the company is a fraud. BD in particular have based a lot of their branding on being 'punk' and treating employees well, so to me this is a fundamental issue. Thats a fantastic calc to show actually they could swallow it, even without the CEO dipping in top his personal earnings/wealth (although maybe he needs to keep a sizeable pot for any future legal fees....)
  18. terrible company, but a great example of marketing driving a business forward. Anyway, re winter sickness I'd agree - seems the worst year in my lifetime, pretty much everyone I know has been wiped out with covid or a bug of some kind at some point since Oct.
  19. I am a bit bitter about JE as it seems many are, but we've had worse... Stephen Clemence? Danny Tiatto? (obviously you may be 16 in which case fair enough..)
  20. not that I could see albeit now I have read more of the thread might be due to being shown in Aus or something.
  21. Why is this 12.30? Fighty risk?
  22. Its so hard to decide on most entitled fans. In fairness to the geordies, they have had the media talking about how the fanbase 'deserve' success for decades so maybe thats not helped. But based on right now, hard to trump West Ham. 6th in table and want Moyes out, because he doesnt play the 'West Ham way', which as a 38 year old I dont really recall seeing much of in my lifetime from them. Talksport last night was ridiculous, genuinely felt like calling in to say I was a Leicester fan & can sympathise with the mockney masses - I wanted Ranieri out and was gutted we won the title with 35% possession...
  23. No interest in scottish football so probably watched about 3/4 'Old Firm' games before. Chucked it on today, my god what shite football.
  24. Liz Truss, thought she was just way out of her depth and incompetent, but to have the brass neck to have a resignation honours list after less than 2 months of 'service' is scandalous. Even disregarding the fact that whole tradition seems to be wide open to cronyism. I thought Theresa May seemed awkward and uncomfortable, but with hindsight she is for me the least self serving from a string of abysmal Tory PM's
  25. way to early to judge but I'll do it anyway - our new striker is more water pistol than cannon
