  1. When he was at Celtic I remember being really keen on him. I get that it's a different league, but his movement, his finishing, his demeanour...they all seemed like something we'd like at Leicester. I don't even recognise this guy. What a sad fall for a player. Really didn't offer anything in his cameo.
  2. Huge relief to get a win. Am I reading too much into the seeming lack of celebration from the players and manager at the final whistle? Maybe I missed something, but those 3 points are important. Regardless of the result, we were pretty poor 2nd half. I still don't think Ayew should be a starter, and Fatawu was bright when he came on, showcasing what we were missing without him. I do understand why Justin is being preferred at RB right now as it's getting plenty out of his athleticism. I still miss Ricardo though. The "tactics" and in-game management are just a bit shit though, aren't they? Surely nobody can deny it's a hard watch. Very much still Cooper Out, and I don't think he knows what he's doing. He's not getting enough out of the squad we have.
  3. They're not even playing to the levels they had last season, so I don't believe this is true at all . I'd say it's much more accurate to say they are playing within Cooper's system and coaching.
  4. Can we please please please just try an attacking midfield of Mavididi, Buonanotte and Fatawu? Wouldn't that just be a little bit more fun, Steve? Please.
  5. Isn't this just the saddest thing? That he's come in and just not done what he promised or implied he would, at all. And there's little we can now do but sack him, which the board won't do any time soon. This is going to sound overly harsh, but I wish he had some sort of probation period. Cooper's grossly missold what he would do, and his skillset. He's just not fulfilling the job spec, ultimately.
  6. Maybe we can just swap? Can't be much worse.
  7. Pretty sure one pro-Cooper poster having a go at folks for wanting better made a comment about how this thread should be shut, and Mark responded along the lines of "actually, **** you, I'm pinning this to the top until he's gone" 😁. And I for one could not applaud that power move more👏🏻👌🏻
  8. Isn't that the point though? He turned it around by showing us a way we could play and get results, while getting players to put in maximum effort. Can you honestly see either of those things under Cooper?
  9. Not remotely surprising to be honest. He's a great deep lying playmaker, a metronome type player that others can use for wall passes to keep the ball moving. That's why we signed him, to fit Maresca's system. He doesn't work in a team that just sits deep and tries to defend—he needs the ball.
  10. A team can be naff, but if they demonstrate a plan or show fight, fans can understand. We aren't showing either. I don't understand what we do all week. Where is the plan or the fight? We're the football equivalent of a shrug.
  11. That's such a soft goal to concede. Okoli, Faes, and JJ just watched it go past them and into the net. Come on boys, what are you doing?
  12. Not sure I've ever been a bit disappointed we won a game. What a weird feeling. Too many negatives to type out, and no energy after that to do so anyway. Cooper has no idea what he's doing, and the players know it. Onto the next round, anyway!
  13. I think it was a bit difficult for him to thrive today given we'd started retreating long before he came on. He needs support to create things with/for him. He's 20, not a one-man-army. He'll flourish if given the chance and support of other creative players.
  14. No we don't. But we shouldn't be starting a defensive side and then getting more defensive as the game wears on. That is incredibly negative, invites more pressure, and frankly doesn't make anyone want to watch football.
  15. 2-0, and we ****ed it up eh? Deary me.
  16. Appreciate this summary, great idea! This part is absolutely wild: LCFC argued that it was no longer bound by the Premier League rules after its relegation on 13 June 2023. The Appeal Board agreed with LCFC, emphasizing that liability under the PSRs could only be assessed after the completion of the club's financial year, which ended on 30 June 2023—after the club had left the Premier League. The Appeal Board noted that LCFC’s decision to change its accounting reference date to 30 June 2023 was critical. This decision, albeit coincidental, meant the club's PSR Calculation fell after its relegation, thus placing it outside the Premier League’s jurisdiction So basically, we managed to get out of this on the technicality that we weren't a PL club for 17 days of the 3 year accounting period...and "coincidentally" this was possible because we changed our accounting period. That is 4D chess stuff right there. DeMarco, wow.
  17. Although Rumble was exaggerating a little for effect, I don't think he's that far off the mark. Give Ricky P a proper run in the side and I am convinced he would be up there as at least one of the top 5-8 full backs in the league. He should never, ever have played at Championship level. He is a fantastic footballer. If this is referring to Mavididi, however, I love the guy, but he has not had anywhere near the time to evidence that yet.
  18. Thanks folks. I think Cooper set up poorly, but don't think the players deserve booing at this stage of the season. The ref, however...
  19. This is much better, agreed. Let's hope it shifts to that as the game wears on.
  20. Ricky P is probably most fans' favourite player in our squad. He's a great player on his day. And Cooper is just icing him out? I don't get it at all. Mavididi also deserves his chance—hopefully comes on and plays out of his skin. Buonanotte not playing is also bizarre, considering he seems to have started most of our attacks so far this season.
  21. That is so negative. Especially at home. I get Villa are decent these days, but where are our attacks and chances supposed to come from? Really hope I'm wrong.
  22. I am disappointed with the window overall, but there are a few areas of promise. We still need an understudy to Vardy, and our left back depth is...questionable. But we have a team that should be better than bottom three in theory. The problem is, we have a points deduction coming which will likely drop us in there no matter if we're better than those teams or not. I'm more concerned about us dropping wages and transfer fees on ageing players like Ayew and BDCR. I don't see what either adds. If Cooper actually plays his best players (cough, Ricardo, cough, Mavididi) then our first eleven isn't terrible. I'm more worried about our first few performances to be honest. Arguably Cooper looks like the worst deal we made. Oh, and a shout out for all the players going out on loan. Genuinely looking forward to seeing how they all get on!
  23. Banter on here was much better when we were shit to be fair. Silver linings and all that 😁.
  24. Okay now I just want a league table of ITKs to judge what tier they each are 😂. Points for correct predictions/announcements/rumours, bonus points for being the first to break the news, and deductions if things turn out to be a load of waffle...
