I agree @KingsX. The main problem with FFP for me is what is happening with Man City's charges. They've been charged...but still no hearing. Meanwhile, Everton have been charged and punished, then charged again, along with Forest. Man City have powerful lawyers, fed with their deep pockets. So they can just delay, or hire the most expensive, brilliant lawyers to fight their corner. If the lawyers won the case, then suddenly they're renowned for being able to do it. And if you've got enough money...you can worm out of it too. I think if FFP factored in legal costs for the club to fight these kind of cases, it would make the playing field far more level than it is right now. And if they win, perhaps the costs get disregarded so it doesn't effect FFP for the club? Poorly articulated idea, but you hopefully follow my train of thought.

True, but if KDH is out and obviously Fatawu is suspended for Monday against Ipswich...do you honestly like our options for replacing them? They're our two most creative outlets. We're crying out for a consistent, fit number 8 to partner or step in for KDH.

He did indeed. However, on asking my Reading supporting colleague what he thought of him, he didn't even know who he was 😅. Which perhaps shows the impact he had in his first season in the Championship. I think Casadei is raw, but he's getting better. That's only going to improve with game time. He's probably the best at "crashing the penalty box" and quite unlucky not to have scored a couple more goals this season. He's far from the finished article, but a good option for us.

To be honest, I'm not sure we will anyway. Alves was training with the first team, but then got injured again (to be expected), and we need to be careful with him. As @Ric Flair noted a few weeks ago, Enzo didn't even seem to know who Braybrooke was either. I'd love to see one or both of them play, but at best we'll see Alves end of the season I reckon. Ship has sailed a bit on seeing them this season I fear.

Ah that's where I saw the name before! Maybe mentioned in the Twitter thread recently? I think the "administrative issues" were basically that we would have had to pay USG £250k for development compensation or something, but we weren't prepared to, as he left the club because his brother (his agent?) wasn't happy with their trying to send him out on loan to a 3rd tier Belgian side or something like that.
