Same issue with Chilwell and Schlupp

It amazes me how many footballers can't use their other foot. Anytime (most of the time) he wasn't perfectly placed to play it with his right foot he'd turn back on himself and go back to Vestergaard. The pass was on, Fatawu in acres of space if he'd just use his left foot to play a simple pass. KDH is the same with his right, turns down no end of opportunities just to avoid using his right foot. Surely given this obvious weakness to their games they should be working on this daily, but given it doesn't look like happening he'd be much more suited on the right and have Ricardo inverting from the left, his body shape will be what he's used to to play that pass to the right winger.

He's been booked in 6/10 Championship games so far, he's not an option if we go up. He can pick a pass, and looked good today especially as Souttar and Choudhury don't seem to have it in them to make any meaningful passes. I hope we end up with Faes and Doyle/Justin either side of Coady eventually.

Don’t rate Souttar at all, slow and cumbersome isn’t what you need next to Vestergaard. Then on the other side we’ve got Choudhury who just isn’t a left back.

Doesn't need to be overplayed, that's part of the problem with the current choice we're mostly sick of it after it being forced on us after all the goals and full time. Liverpool don't play YNWA at full time.

Pretty sure this goes back to last season and the rumours about the Maddison/Thomas/Barnes/KDH cliche. Likely to be true when you see that, and Choudhury is seen as a better captain choice from the academy might have annoyed him as well. I suspect he thinks he should have got a move with his three pals

Could say it benefitted us then, as our two biggest wins have been 4-1 at Southampton and Blackburn, both games we had less possession and more counter attacking.

Squads are big enough now to cope, especially at the clubs actually in Europe. If they choose to still overplay players then that's their fault.

We didn’t create anything since the 3rd minute and spent most of the match trying to play out from the back no matter how much pressure was there, usually giving chances away.

We've got Justin, and I can see us switching Ricardo to play the role he's playing now but from the left.

Albrighton has just made the bench ahead of him for some reason, seems like he's on the naughty step so can't see a new contract being signed. Looks like a waste of what looked like a promising season for him, should have gone out on loan.

If it wasn't for us gifting them 6 points last season they'd have been much closer to the drop than they were 😬

We’re not going to batter anyone as since pre season we seem to willingly turn down attacking opportunities and it’s still happening. I’ve seen us go back to defence from a corner, free kicks in the attacking third and when a pass is on to someone in acres down the wing many times. We also don’t have the right players in attacking areas to score goals. Neither Vardy or Iheanacho are suited to the way we’re playing, Wilf and KDH as good as they’ve been in certain areas they are not scoring us goals, both have only scored in one league game this season.

It'll be interesting to see how we cope when he's out for a match as he's on four yellows, hopefully it won't be against Preston.
