I much prefer him to the absolute dirge we've got on Sky at the moment. He's the closest we've got to Mark Lawrenson since he got cancelled.

LCFC Vs. Birmingham City (3-0 W) Post Match Thread
lcfcsnow replied to OntarioFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Saw this in General Sport and sums it up for me, we play far too safe in attacking areas and it's like we are waiting for perfect opportunities otherwise pass it back, whereas Albrighton just plays on instinct and gets it in there. One dimensional maybe, but it's been effective, puts pressure on opponents to deal with crosses (instead of shifting them left and right) and has created many chances over the years. Abdul especially compared to when he arrived his first thought is to pass back or cut inside and recycle the ball. -
We'll be his 7th loan of his career at 28.

Seems to me like we are having less 'control' the longer Enzo is here.. -

Why is Raihky getting a chance ahead of Alves? -
Watched him a few years ago was playing right back and reminded me of TAA, his ability to ping balls. Since then seems to have gone into midfield, you know what Enzo likes so he's probably seen him as an inverted full back option.
-
He's not looked happy all season but I've thought its because his nose has been put out of joint since the Maddison clique was broken up and we brought in some stronger characters.
-
Most of those were early on before Enzo banned the counter attack and forced us to recycle the ball all match and take no risks unless we're in our own third.
-
Problem is we're always trying to score the perfect goal, all well and good keeping the ball but not every goal has to come after a certain amount of passes. We're limiting ourselves and turning down opportunities to score in different ways and lately being punished for it.

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

Wouldn't have even crossed the managers mind as he's obsessed with a full back inverting into midfield. It's restricting our play, we go through the same routine all match and 99% of the time we just pass back and don't make it past the half way line. Starting to long for the day we see an overlapping full back again. -

He's had a chip on his shoulder for a while, turning into another Maddison I fear (not in ability). Thomas coming back probably hasn't helped. -
Can’t stand Alan Smith more 🥱
-
Just hope we've got a reasonable gap still by the end of Feb when we play them, we'll go there and set up like we did at Cov thinking our walking football will quiet the crowd, just another game etc

Dominguez is far too good for Forest
-
He'd lost his place in the last few months of the season at Monza too as I mentioned earlier.
-
If he was immense he'd have been a starter for a small Serie A club but he was a sub for 7 of their last 8 games coming on in 5 of them so clearly lost his place. In the games he did start he was regularly subbed off early. No chance he copes with the pace of English football, although I suppose we are trying to play like an Italian club. 🙄 The 3.5 year contract is nuts given he's already been out on loan 6 times in his career, never settled or been a regular anywhere and will be guaranteed to make that 7 next season.
-
3.5 year contract with his injury history in a slower league than ours just seems very silly from us, again.
-
Does seem the type to leave for Turkey now at this stage of his career and given his injury record, will be a lucky escape I suspect

I liked the McDonalds teletext one

Dominguez is too good for Forest 😠

Often wonder if its sound effects, you never see anyone coughing when the camera is on the crowd.
-
What are they even looking for
-
That's why I'm saying if we go up. Today was an example of us without the ball and he was unwilling to counter attack. He's also dismissed it in the past when asked about using the counter attack.
-
He needs to sort his tactics out, mostly his lack of interest in counter attacking but you can tell he's stubborn on his beliefs. They'll be many games next season if we go up where we won't have the ball as we didn't today, but he was completely unwilling to allow any counter attacking, the changes he did make put a stop on that.
