Problem is we're always trying to score the perfect goal, all well and good keeping the ball but not every goal has to come after a certain amount of passes. We're limiting ourselves and turning down opportunities to score in different ways and lately being punished for it.

Wouldn't have even crossed the managers mind as he's obsessed with a full back inverting into midfield. It's restricting our play, we go through the same routine all match and 99% of the time we just pass back and don't make it past the half way line. Starting to long for the day we see an overlapping full back again.

He's had a chip on his shoulder for a while, turning into another Maddison I fear (not in ability). Thomas coming back probably hasn't helped.

Dominguez is far too good for Forest

He'd lost his place in the last few months of the season at Monza too as I mentioned earlier.

If he was immense he'd have been a starter for a small Serie A club but he was a sub for 7 of their last 8 games coming on in 5 of them so clearly lost his place. In the games he did start he was regularly subbed off early. No chance he copes with the pace of English football, although I suppose we are trying to play like an Italian club. 🙄 The 3.5 year contract is nuts given he's already been out on loan 6 times in his career, never settled or been a regular anywhere and will be guaranteed to make that 7 next season.

3.5 year contract with his injury history in a slower league than ours just seems very silly from us, again.

Does seem the type to leave for Turkey now at this stage of his career and given his injury record, will be a lucky escape I suspect

That's why I'm saying if we go up. Today was an example of us without the ball and he was unwilling to counter attack. He's also dismissed it in the past when asked about using the counter attack.

He needs to sort his tactics out, mostly his lack of interest in counter attacking but you can tell he's stubborn on his beliefs. They'll be many games next season if we go up where we won't have the ball as we didn't today, but he was completely unwilling to allow any counter attacking, the changes he did make put a stop on that.

Wonder whether it was really his choice to not to go AFCON? He's not been on it since it was decided he wouldn't go.

Well this has disaster written all over it. He's 28 and injury prone, spent all his career in the Italian league and clearly can't even hack the pace of that. We need to stop letting managers take over transfers, it's what got us relegated

No I do not, and if that's what I am so be it. It's not ITV that's the problem here this has been buiding for a few years across all channels. Everyone is different, you're different and very aggressive poster, at times funny but also offensive. You don't care who you offend, and neither do I here however I don't think it should offend given its just an opinion but this is where we're at. Not everyone is going to think the same and agree with how things are being forced these days, it seems I'm on of those and I'm fine with that. If you want to do the whole holier-than-thou thing then good for you 👍

The general point he's making is right but of course no one is going to listen because it's Joey Barton and it's predictably got out of hand, but at least he gave it a go, who else is going to? Eni Aluko is an absolute waste of time, have no option but to mute whenever she appears as she did last night. I find Lucy Ward painful on commentary also. But there are good women presenters, Laura Woods and Emma Paton especially, it's the box ticking that people don't like. The best qualified pundits for the job should get the job.
