  1. He doesn't have a natural instinct of when to release the ball, or when to shoot without overdoing things which he often does. Really needs to improve on this to make it in the PL but not sure it can be taught.
  2. Not as good but reminded me of this one https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ypFZfVBARSc
  3. He’s scored twice all season, as an attacking player he’s not making team of the season as good as he’s been for us
  4. I'd prefer us to take more risks in the oppositions half instead, we hardly tested Ben Hamer at all as we seem to be looking for the perfect opportunity to take a shot on goal, other than the penalty we only had a couple which is poor.
  5. He's at Luton for a reason, not got the mentality to play in ambitious side. The most important thing is he has to be the main man, as he was in the last few seasons at Everton and now at Luton. That brings out the best in him but we really don't need that type of player.
  6. Don't know much about Watford but their manager was a hoof ball merchant at WBA and noticed they've quite a lot of 'big' players, so could be tough first start for Nelson physically.
  7. They’ve had double boards for a while puts me off watching any of their home games And this one is like us vs most championship sides with the home fans getting frustrated when players pass back, it happens in games like this it’s not just us
  8. Can’t help but feel we’ve dodged a bullet as we did with Harrison this time last year Just a shame we spent the whole month focusing on one player and ending up with no one
  9. West Ham fans moaning a lot about the slow play at the back, not just us but a sign that fans struggle with slow football
  10. He's a backs against the wall defender, some on here are still harping back to that Newcastle game. He's not a progressive passer which is what we're after, and we need pace next to Vestergaard. There's 3 reasons. He'd suit a team like Sheff Utd or Everton.
  11. Really enjoyed Maupay winding Spurs up tonight, hardly ever see that sort of thing these days
  12. Been much the same at Man City in recent years, doesn't take much working out. Hopefully next season teams won't sit back, we'll learn from how Burnley have gone about it this season and we see more entertaining games, there should be more space for us also - but there was last night and I think the frustration is coming more because we're turning down these opportunities. My message to Enzo would be especially if we go up is stop looking for perfection - you'll only get that at Man City with obscene spending power.
  13. No chance we get two in on the same day, just not happening. We've been working on this Sensi deal for the whole of January 🤦‍♂️
  14. Yeah that can only happen to our players
  15. If he was anywhere close he'd have been involved against Birmingham, not going to suddenly appear for a league fixture.
  16. Awaits KDH signs new lucrative contract announcement 🙄
  17. We didn't pay much more for James Maddison who at the time was younger and showing more potential than KDH. Not many players who have only performed well at Championship level go for £30 million, infact I can't think of any
  18. I much prefer him to the absolute dirge we've got on Sky at the moment. He's the closest we've got to Mark Lawrenson since he got cancelled.
  19. Saw this in General Sport and sums it up for me, we play far too safe in attacking areas and it's like we are waiting for perfect opportunities otherwise pass it back, whereas Albrighton just plays on instinct and gets it in there. One dimensional maybe, but it's been effective, puts pressure on opponents to deal with crosses (instead of shifting them left and right) and has created many chances over the years. Abdul especially compared to when he arrived his first thought is to pass back or cut inside and recycle the ball.
  20. We'll be his 7th loan of his career at 28.
  21. Seems to me like we are having less 'control' the longer Enzo is here..
  22. Why is Raihky getting a chance ahead of Alves?
  23. Watched him a few years ago was playing right back and reminded me of TAA, his ability to ping balls. Since then seems to have gone into midfield, you know what Enzo likes so he's probably seen him as an inverted full back option.
  24. He's not looked happy all season but I've thought its because his nose has been put out of joint since the Maddison clique was broken up and we brought in some stronger characters.
