Benguin Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I am almost certain Newcastle will not pick up another point unless it comes from us. They are on 35 points. Sunderland are the only team in the bottom 3 that have any chance of catching them in my opinion. Burnley will need 9 points which is possible with their run in but based on their form I can't see them getting 75% of the available points to them. Similar with QPR. Therefore I strongly believe that once we or one of the teams around us i.e Hull or Villa over take them I think they might as well be declared safe. It is possible for us to do that as soon as 3.pm next Saturday! What are your thoughts? Newcastle are 18/1 to go down btw, think that's generous!

They're not going to go 11 games without picking up a single point. Just can't see it.

Just can't see it. tbf they picked up like 1 point in their first 8 or something didn't they? until we came along and i doubt many would think they'd pick up a massive zero points from their last 7 games either.
Guest Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Hopefully Villa are below us before the end of the season.
BigWesMorgan Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Even though they won today, Hull are pretty much screwed.
Suffolk exile Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 If we can beat Newcastle (I honestly think we'll have a narrow defeat against the lethal Chelski) - I think we'll need at least another draw.
Nalis Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 You would think they'll get at least 2 pts in their last 4, particularly as 2 are v West Ham and West Brom at home. 37pts should be enough for them.
bovril Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 Even though they won today, Hull are pretty much screwed. I don't think it'd be a massive shock if they beat Liverpool.

Newcastle have had a collapse in form, and our game against them will be mouth watering, with so much at stake.
Kitchandro Posted 25 April 2015 Posted 25 April 2015 I certainly believe Newcastle should be in our sights, the more teams we can drag down the better. Even if we lose to Chelsea - best them next week an we're only a point behind.
