I hope to never see Upson in a City shirt again - it only reminds me of what daft decisions Nige has made this season. On the bench is too close for comfort.
Xen Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Schmeichel Was Huth Wes Albrighton James Cambiasso Schlupp Nugent Ulloa Vardy Hamer, Konchesky, RDL, Drinkwater, King, Krameric, Mahrez Can't see past this.
ithuriel Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Kasper . Was, (if fit). Huth Wes . Albrighton and Schluup on the wings. . Cambiasso James Kramaric . Ulloa Vardy
BenKimbo Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Same team but who ever has looked better in training out of Nugent and Kramaric should play in the hole. Because both of the players are primarily strikers they should allow rotation with Vardy and Ulloa should any of them drop back to get the ball.
klevin Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Same team minus Nugent for Mahrez. Technically speaking, apart from Cambiasso, Mahrez is our best player. However, he is a winger and is most effective when played out wide and he can run across defenders, and when he plays in the hole he struggles to do that.
SpacedX Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 This is the only formation isn't it? Agree - and many have been making this point since November. Shame it wasn't discovered until April.
merlin1969 Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32561831 Leicester forward David Nugent is fit to face Southampton after missing the last four matches with a calf problem. Midfielder Andy King remains the only injury absentee for Nigel Pearson, who has been named Premier League manager of the month for April. Southampton's James Ward-Prowse serves a one-match ban as a result of his red card at Sunderland. Jay Rodriguez has started training after a serious knee injury but is not yet ready for a first-team return. Morgan Schneiderlin, Dusan Tadic, Fraser Forster and Emmanuel Mayuka all remain absent.
TJB-fox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Rumours of Mane being injured for them anyone know if he's available or not?
LukeFoxes Posted 9 May 2015 Author Posted 9 May 2015 Can't see past this. I agree mate. I think Nuge will start on the bench though. Can't see him dropping Mahrez after a 3-0 win
glenelgfox Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Same team as Newcastle. Mahrez creates plenty of chances and I like having him and Albrighton crossing balls in from all over the pitch. If Mahrez's great crosses to Ulloa and Vardy were converted then he'd be in everyone's teams. I'd understand if Nugent was put back in the team though. I agree and I think Nuge should start on the bench and be used tactically.
Bamba's Babes Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Why do we need Nugent? We've been more than fine without him.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 9 May 2015 Posted 9 May 2015 Don't need him, but he's a great option to have, instrumental at the beginning of turning things round.
