weller54 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Not sure if he'll play for us again next season.. But I have a feeling he might be back with us one day as our Manager?
Guest Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Doubtful. couldn't you just have put this in the Cambiasso=class thread?
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Doubtful. couldn't you just have put this in the Cambiasso=class thread? No, let's have another one to go with the fifty or so already in existence.
Munshi Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 If there were Fifty JET threads up you wouldn't mind. Seriously though, more chance of someone like Andy King after he retires to end up on the coaching staff I'd think
Guest LCFC_World Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Possible. Look at ex players becoming managers of their teams.. Giggs at Man Utd, DI Canio wanted by West Ham fans, Bilic wanted by West Ham fans....
notnow john Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 No, let's have another one to go with the fifty or so already in existence. That's another ban coming, let it go!
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 That's another ban coming, let it go! Ah yes! My bad.... YES a future manager of ours, no doubt about it...! It's written in the stars (ok, maybe that's a little OTT).. Better?
Corky Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I think he'll replace the Birch in about 25 years time (just after he's completed his 58th run at the age of 95) and be the MC on matchdays overseeing the relay runs, with Andy King as manager and Max Schmeichel as our number one keeper.
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Not sure why he'd manage us when he's probably got a job for life at inter when he retires.
Alexikokopops Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Ah yes! My bad.... YES a future manager of ours, no doubt about it...! It's written in the stars (ok, maybe that's a little OTT).. Better? At least now if he does become manager you can tell us all you said he would
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 At least now if he does become manager you can tell us all you said he would. Do you not get irony?
cc_star Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Not sure if he'll play for us again next season.. But I have a feeling he might be back with us one day as our Manager? He's got a job for life offer at Inter, and as one of their all-time greats where he's spent many successful seasons, rather than just his one season here - albeit one which he sees as a success
Alexikokopops Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Do you not get irony? I added a smiley at the same time you quoted because I realised the first post probably looked harsher than intended However, despite all this I think we're getting distracted from the most important thing. MORE CAMBIASSO CHAT.
desertfox2 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 If he's as smart as he seems to be he will be asking mourinho for a coaching role when he retires, they seem quite close still. I'm sure he will be a manager but the way mourinho did it working with the great bobby Robson and then choosing the right job not the right now job seems to be a good route to go. From a selfish point of view hope he stays with us like kevin phillips but doubtful
ScouseFox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 If he did manage us it would probably be the second best moment in the history of the club, just behind when he played for us
CKB Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I just want him here for another season! Please don't go Cambiasso
Mike Oxlong Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Maybe he will open an Italian restaurant in Highcross and an ice cream stall in St Martins. The Cambiasso pizza will have no topping and his ice cream servers will be moulded to create scoops in the shape of his skull.
Aylestone Fox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 I doubt very much we'll see him again when he goes, which is likely to be at the end of the season. A joy to have whilst he was here though.
