BoneDog Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Just got a text, Kenny Jacket has just been seen coming out of East Mids Airport khazi in arrivals lounge, looking determined.
itsaknockeart Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 How's it a bluff? I didn't say I had made profit I've said I will make profit. Get on the odds before they shoot in and you are laughing. I have a tenner on ranieri at 20/1 with bet victor and 20 on O'Neil at 7/2 with bet victor and 20 at 8/1. Either of them come in im in profit. Right now we know 2 are left in the running from the looks of the odds. You can currently get 7/2 O'Neil with 123 bet I think it was i haven't checked but it's one of them. On a other site you can get Claudio at 6/4. Ergo you can back them both and still come out with more money than you put in. That's how you make profit. Nothing about making it now. It's a marathon not a sprint it seems with this market. Also you never see a bookie on a pushbike. All credit for combining both outrageous aftertiming and nonsensical logic into one paragraph.
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 it's called match betting, not too dissimilar to counting cards playing blackjack. All credit for combining both outrageous aftertiming and nonsensical logic into one paragraph.

Must be at least an 8.5, no?
itsaknockeart Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 it's called match betting, not too dissimilar to counting cards playing blackjack. You've lost me completely. How is backing the two favourites in a hundred plus runner race and claiming that guarantees a profit similar to card counting?
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 So obvious you lay odds on favourites in these markets. You only need 2 managers to go odds on and then you're 100% in profit. This market has been mad, probably be somebody else odds on tomorrow. Only 1 can get paid out on, it's literally like finding money.
FireFox Posted 12 July 2015 Posted 12 July 2015 Put equal money on 10 different managers when they are 20/1 and you could safely double your money. Unless one of those 10 doesn't become manager.

Yeah, you'd certainly be well in profit using this system (not sure where you've got 100% from though). Takes balls to do it of course, you would have lost in some markets (Moyes to Man Utd) And, curiously, in this market if you'd only layed odds-on shots you'd have made only one bet so far (only MON has been odds on on betfair)
ramboacdc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 You've lost me completely. How is backing the two favourites in a hundred plus runner race and claiming that guarantees a profit similar to card counting? i didn't say i had only backed them two. I said it seems to be down to these 2. i have others at large prices and their odds are coming in as we speak. as long as i make money i don't care haha. its all gravy. anyway im back at work so that means a whole day of watching the odds early money for the marseille guy and neil lennon.
ramboacdc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 And if neither of them get the job, how stupid will you look? On a scale of 1 to 10, roughly? Must be at least an 8.5, no? good post bro. if neither of them become manager one of the others i backed will. Its about getting in early and getting the good price.
itsaknockeart Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 good post bro. if neither of them become manager one of the others i backed will. Its about getting in early and getting the good price. You've backed everyone? Sounds like a shrewd strategy.
ramboacdc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 You've backed everyone? Sounds like a shrewd strategy. no ive backed the logical choices and the big odds. its a gamble. right now its paying off. granted i got £10 on klopp at 25/1 that won't go anywhere but thats why its called gambling.
Foreverfox Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 no ive backed the logical choices and the big odds. its a gamble. right now its paying off. granted i got £10 on klopp at 25/1 that won't go anywhere but thats why its called gambling. You sound really shrewd. How much did you put on the ostrich?

Hmm, doesn't sound like a gamble to me! I get the feeling that whoever gets named manager you're going to have backed them, and at a tasty price. It appears you have cracked the code, well done.
ramboacdc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 You sound really shrewd. How much did you put on the ostrich? seriously..great post bro.

How is it paying off right now when no one has any idea who the next manager is going to be?
Blueunderpants Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 Not sure if anybody posted this earlier - Paddy Power have given us an outsider http://www.paddypower.com/football/football-specials/manager-specials?ev_oc_grp_ids=2103303
ramboacdc Posted 13 July 2015 Posted 13 July 2015 How is it paying off right now when no one has any idea who the next manager is going to be? i have all of the first 5 in the running at odds of over 10/1 each one. as someone said earlier you could back 10 managers level stake at odds of 20/1 and make profit. unless someone comes out of nowhere and takes the job i will make money. Wish i had never opened my mouth now!
