Unlike last time when it was quickly apparent Pearson would return to the Walkers with him managing Hull it does not look like we will see Nige in the near future. With our record of a minutes applause for just about anything surely we owe Pearson one and with Sunderland first game of the year it seems fitting. Are you for real - get a life child....... He is gone and that is brilliant news for real fans. The real fans are those who had to endure some sh*t over the last 11-12 years but stuck behind the team, and are missing Nigel due to the success he bought us (remember he's the ONLY one that did this during this period). Those that didn't like Nigel's stance don't really appreciate this clubs' recent success and that is sad and strange.

We only survived with 2 games to go with a team that should have done better. MON is our best ever manager and those kiddies on here who didn't witness those great times need to speak to more seasoned supporters who will tell you about a true great manager - not some arrogant plonker with his head so far up his backside - which eventually and rightly so got him fired.
