Guest glasgowfox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Has anybody done the corporate Lineker suite thing for a match and if so how did they rate it and is there an expected dress code?
Stadt Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 yeah the dress code is a big orange suit with a leicester kit on top with some big black shoes
EnderbyFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 You also have to shit yourself at some point during the game
gerrytaggart Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Full kit mate. Otherwise you are gonna look a right pr!ck.
stripeyfox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 You also have to shit yourself at some point during the game Is it ok to shuffle across the carpet to wipe your arse afterwards?
Guest glasgowfox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 about what I expected from some people.....shame
ianormondroyd Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I took my grandad for his 80th almost 2 years ago now (Birmingham in the 13/14 season) Really enjoyed it, mauchlen was the host/compare, but some of the other faces turned up, Walshy, Elliott, Marshall & Birchenall all made a really big fuss of my grandad who was like a kid in a sweet shop (even more so than me). Food was also very good, think you get there about 12ish, have the meal, quiz, match, half time cup of tea (no queue, free and doesn't taste like cat piss) then after the game Walshy gave us his thoughts before The Birch came in with MOTM, unfortunately for us it was Zak Whitbread. There is also a bar available all afternoon and the former players all very happy to chat and pass the time of day! In conclusion - recommended! Hope this helps Dress code is smart casual, think I wore my posh jeans, no football shirts though!
Ricey Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 There is a dress-code, but I think it only extends to no away colours or trainers. I've done it a couple of times and always really enjoyed it. You tend to get put on tables with strangers, which can be hit and miss and Ali Mauchlin is a terrible host, but other than that the food is great, the room looks fantastic since they did it out last summer and it always good to here from the MoM at the end of the match. Last time I went it was Cambiasso and was great to hear him speak about the club.
Wymsey Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Jeans are fine to wear. Good service and food. There's usually a post-match thing with the Birch and LCFC player of the game. I'd advise not to hang any coats on the rails provided; know people who've had their wallets and phones stolen whilst having dinner...
Guest glasgowfox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 thanks guys that's a big help...I am going to man u home game....kasper for mom ?
wight88 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 When you're tired and weary, your heart will skip a beat. You'll get a business conference when you walk in the Lineker suite.
