Merging Cultures Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 We had moved to a new house in Braunstone, and I knocked a bottle of milk over in the kitchen which shattered and made a big mess. I seem to recall the kitchen had carpet tiles, which stunk of off milk for ages. I got a good hiding for it.
Guest Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 losing my virginity So you can't remember the first 39 years of your life?
foxoffderby Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 A lot of people remember trauma or a tragic event. Bad memories of events tend to stay with you longer. I remember letting go of my grandma's hand and running across the road, then I was hit by a car which I don't remember. I was put on a life support machine, I remember walking up in hospital with a huge pain in my stomach. I had my pancreas removed and a huge scare on my belly. I was 3 at the time.

Crinklyfox Posted 12 September 2015 Posted 12 September 2015 My first memory is my awareness of my own existence. No sight, no sound, just the commencement of thought. I have no idea when that was but it was before my first vivid memory as a baby when I was surrounded by unfamiliar sounds and noises and became distressed.

Foxhateram Posted 13 September 2015 Posted 13 September 2015 Braggy park on a brisk winters day. It had snowed. Can remember the grass crunching as we took bread to feed the ducks. Remember sitting down and what seemed like hundreds of ducks around me shouting for bread. Guessing the river was frozen so little food for them. Pretty sure they were on my lap as well. Must have been 3-4 as we moved to Cambridgeshire when I was 4. Also, walking around ellis town mobile home park at my grandparents, we found an injured fox, we helped it out and in return we got to stroke it. It went on its way the next day, limping but well enough to survive. It returned to their garden most evenings after and we used to give it some left overs. Good memories.
