Parafox Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I remember I would have been about 2, living with a foster carer near Market Harborough and having to go to hospital for a "delicate" operation because my dad, who was unable to look after me at the time, due to marriage breakdown, insisted that I had to be circumcised because that's what happened to boys in his home country of Romania. I can remember the sound and smell of the clinic and being taken home by ambulance. I also remember when I was about 3 being given a trike which had a metal compartment between the rear wheels where I would keep a spanner and a hammer "in case". It was blue with darker blue mudguards. I kept it until I got my first bike a few years later. I can remember my dad pushing me round the block on it. I can remember feeling really happy.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I think I was 2 or 3, woke up on Christmas morning and was so excited I climbed out of my cot and went straight downstairs, I'd pissed myself in my sleep but that wasn't important.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I remember coming out of a tunnel with an Indian man smiling at me, I think it was in Grimsby because I could hear a screaming women and the smell of fish was heavy in the air,
Carl the Llama Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 My earliest memory freaks me out all the time. I remember a multicoloured 'vortex' and then waking up in my childhood bedroom. I went downstairs for breakfast and everything felt familiar but new at the same time, like a big old case of deja vu. Still undecided if it was simply me waking up from a dream, the moment I developed true conciousness, or if it was something a whole lot weirder.
Steven Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 My earliest childhood memory is so long ago now it is in black and white.
ScouseFox Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 i remember being told off for pushing my sister down the stairs
Guest Mee-9 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I was heading to Loughborough Country Fair with my parents. I should probably call childline.
glenny_fox Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I remember going on a trip to London with my parents when I was 3. I fell asleep as soon as we left the house and woke up about 2 miles from London. for years I thought London was only down the road from Leicester.
yorkie1999 Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Watching 1969 moon landings on television at my uncles house in Kinloss. I was born in 65 which meant i was 4, and can even remember the tv, which had a wooden outside with a blue leatherette panel next to the screen, 4 buttons at the bottom and a knob for the channels.
Guest Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I'd like to say tit sucking but sadly it was throwing my dummy out of the Anglia perhaps 6 - 8 months

You shouldn't really be so rude about your uncle. It was kind of him to change the channels for you.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 losing my virginity Birth doesn't count
RonnieTodger Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Birth doesn't count Yeah that's a lot funnier than a molestation joke actually.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Yeah that's a lot funnier than a molestation joke actually. let's hear it!
DennisNedry Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 My earliest memory is from when I was 4 years old, when I rested my head on my mums tummy to hear my unborn sister kicking I'm surprised people can remember being 2 or younger!
Carl the Llama Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 let's hear it! Oh Julian. Consider yourself whooshed. losing my virginity
Izzy Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Must have been 4 or 5 and just started school. We were climbing the ropes in PE and I got to the top and let go. Fell to the ground and cracked my head open on the floor - claret everywhere. As I was lying down in agony, one of the other kids started screaming "Miss, Miss, we can see his brain!!" I thought my brain was hanging out the back of my skull. Sh1t myself.
Wymsey Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Got done for wolf-whistling at a teacher at around 7. Had to do detention because of it.
Webbo Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 I remember holding my mam's hand crossing the road to take my sister to be weighed at Belgrave Hall (now Belgrave neighbourhood centre). At the eldest I would be about 2 so I'm not sure how genuine it is.
BoyJones Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Seeing my two year old sister lying motionless under a couple of feet of water at the serpentine in 1955. I don't remember her being rescued, but I do remember my mother stripping me down to my vest and pants so my sister could have my dry clothes. I was three at the time. I can still her face looking up, eyes open, no panic, just fading away.
gazagac Posted 11 September 2015 Posted 11 September 2015 Earliest memory is walking down to the local newsagent with my mum to get the old Sports Mercury at about 6pm on a Saturday night - must have been about 6 years old in 1977. Seemed amazing that you got photos from the match that had only finished about an hour before. Probably more amazing is the fact that I thought Larry May was the greatest goalscorer in the world! I have this memory of 1-0 wins with a May goal. Looking back, 77/78 gave us a record low 21(?) points, with Roger Davies and Billy Hughes top scoring on 4(?). That same season my dad apologised to me for us being so cr@p, and said how much he hoped it wouldn't stop me loving Leicester. It hasn't. Thanks dad.
