I'm a glass half full kinda guy.

 

The fact this debate is even happening is because 6 of our players played a blinder.

 

And as they are a mixture of centre backs, centre mids, wingers and attackers shows how good that performance (especially 2nd half) was.

Seems an awful lot disagree including MOTD pundits who had him as MOM.

Well we've got a poll here of nearly 300 people who watched the whole game and he hasn't came out top. MOTD pundits watch extended highlights at the most. I reckon his score is about right. 5/6 for the first half, 8 for the 2nd half, averages out at about 7.3. It's a fair score. He was never MOTM unless you didn't watch the first half very carefully.

I thought DD had a very solid 1st half & a very good second and I gave him an eight overall. The difference was that Mahrez was brilliant for 20 minutes and those 20 minutes changed the game. I gave him an eight also but two very different performances.

We wouldn't have got back into that game without Mahrez's performance.

 

Second half he was just unplayable after a fairly quiet first half.

 

For me, he fully deserved MOTM.

 

6/7 first half 9/10 second half.
