tomlcfc01 Posted 1 November 2015 Share Posted 1 November 2015 How easy is it to get tickets in L1? I usually sit in J2, because I have family season ticket holders in there. It only tends to be us making any noise so we would quite like to have a couple of games in L1 so we can join in with the atmosphere properly. Crazy Kop Corner Posted 1 November 2015 Share Posted 1 November 2015 I think it's season ticket holders only.
tomlcfc01 Posted 1 November 2015 Author Share Posted 1 November 2015 Where's the next best place then? I know SK1 is decent, what's the ticket situation like there?
Marmite Posted 1 November 2015 Share Posted 1 November 2015 Season Tickets only. If I had to move from L1 I would go over to SK1, it looks as though its getting a bit of atmosphere over there now. A few years a go I moved from there to L1 as it was like sitting in a morgue

steveherbe Posted 1 November 2015 Share Posted 1 November 2015 SK1 is a brilliant place to be if you want atmosphere. Not easy to get tickets together, but that doesnt seem to matter. Most people get to 'sit' where they need to, if you get my drift!
Christoph Posted 1 November 2015 Share Posted 1 November 2015 SK1 towards the top end is very lively now. There are at least 3-5 spare seat tickets near me (row KK) which I see get filled up by randomers each week. Always feel bad when a guy takes his family up there and the kids cant stand up all game. I've seen at least 2 families move seats because everyone stands up here.

He struggled to stand and his grandson could not see. You would hope the club could in someway let people know its standing, but i dont know the legalities as it is technically illegal to stand persistently at a football game. It's against ground regulations. You can't get nicked for standing.

Away days, they'd have to arrest the best part of 2500 fans every game. I think plod would sooner not deal with the paperwork involved.
Guest Posted 2 November 2015 Share Posted 2 November 2015 Going to try and move for next season. I can't be doing with sitting for 90 mins. Are L1 and SK1 the only places where people generally stand?

This. If you want to 'stand' there are plenty of places you can do it, but if you want to give it your all for 90 minutes (from what I've experienced at the KP) there's only once place to go. Plus it's cheaper too
