Leicester jersey in USA

Quick question(s).  I have been trying to buy a Leicester jersey for a while here in the States.  They were for sale on World Soccer Shop briefly, but I was short of loot at that time and missed out.  (200 bucks when you can get a Spurs or United jersey for half that, wtf?) As of right now you can get any other team in the Premier League except for Leicester and Bournemouth, I guess they sold out.  Whats the deal with the shortage, anyone know?  Can I order one from the official site and if so how does that work?  Do I just pay with a Visa card and it converts dollars to pounds?  

 

I really want one. All of my friends are Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs fans, and sport their gear when we get together for early morning watch parties.  They made fun of me last year for pulling for the Foxes, but not so much now.

Next best route is eBay (just search Leicester City, and you'll find most of the results from eBay UK).

 

You can purchase from the official store (LCFC Direct), but it's really really expensive after shipping is considered.

from what I know you can order from the official website and it should convert automatically. If not then eBay

I live in canada - going home over christmas to leicester for the holidays. Could bring one back with me and post it for you if you like?

I just ordered from LCFC Direct and had it shipped. It was 15 pounds to ship, but the exchange rate right now is pretty favorable. It was $92 shipped to me, but that was without patches or printing.

I am heading to the states next week and could bring one over and post it... But prob a bit late to get one ordered to get to me by the time I leave.

Have you tried emailing the club? I'm sure they must ship internationally.

They definitely do post internationally - when I lived in New Zealand I bought an away shirt from the shop for a tenner, but there was a glitch in the system when it came to delivery so instead of paying £15 to have it sent to NZ it cost bugger all. They might have fixed that now though.

$92 is not bad at a all. Shit official baseball jersey's are $200 these days.  I guess with patches I could et for less than $125 or so.

i have a NE patriots jersey from when my sister visted the states. that cost her $150! it is a lot for them. if you wish i can buy one for you, get it posted to my house and then pass it onto yourself via UPS/DHL if you want? might work out cheaper.

Thanks for all the help. I think I will just order one from the official shop.  I just was not sure how it worked with the money conversion.  I would say it is an encouraging sign for the marketing department that the USA allotment has already been sold out through World Soccer Shop.

Your credit card will handle that. Use a card that has no foreign transaction fees if possible (Capital One, most airline cards), otherwise you'll pay +1-3% on top of your purchase price.

I'm pretty certain I have a track jacket coming in for Christmas (yay!), but what I still want to get is one this year's scarves and  a bumper sticker for my car. It's just not as easy to justify when the shipping more than doubles the price of the item.

You can get one from Bangkok airport.

You can also get one from the Leicester city shop on sukhumvit road in the centre of Bangkok which you can see in Google street view. I bet they're doing good trade now.
