We all know which City defender scored two own goals in one league game last season, but which two City defenders (jointly) scored one own goal, and when?

Remember Carey and Walsh both claiming a goal for us against Millwall I think it was in '96.

Jack Froggatt was definitely one of the players. Some time in the 50's?

Tbh, I don't recall that situation.

Yes, in what was possibly the only game ever where there were more official goalscorers than goals scored! It was at Stamford Bridge in 1954, when Jack Froggatt and Stan Milburn (relative of Jackie and the Charlton brothers) were jointly credited with one of Chelsea's goals. City lost 3-1.

Talking Own Goals, didn't we draw 2-2 with Aston Villa once and the same Villa player scored all 4 goals in the match

[Chris] Nicholl established himself as a centre-half with Aston Villa. In a Division One game against Leicester City in 1976, he scored all four goals (two of them own goals) in a 2–2 draw.[3][2] This was the second time that this feat had been achieved in the top tier English football and followed Sam Wynne's record during a 1923 fixture between Oldham Athletic and Manchester United.

First time we've won 5 away games in a row in the league?

At the start of the season yes. The Pearson title team I'm sure had a great away record in the run-in.

2nd time - League One in 13/14 we won 5 on the bounce, so this has equalled our record.

This is the 1st time from the beginning of the season.

This is the 1st time from the beginning of the season.

We won 5 successive away games in the Championship in 2013/14. That was in late December and January, and like this current run of league wins, it was interrupted by an away defeat in a cup competition.

Btw, it's not often that all 7 Lancashire clubs in the top two divisions lose over one weekend.

In Reading's record-breaking season, they had 20 points - winning 6, drawing 2 and losing 1.

We've already bettered that before today, but 24 points is what Sheff Utd had in that same season after 9 games; winning 8 drawing 1 and scoring 20, conceding 9 in that time.

Funnily enough Sheff Weds were also bottom of the league by that time in the season too.

Hey, did anyone know we’ve now equaled the best ever Championship start in 10 games?

And 11 games?

What's the record points total we got to break/aim for, for the season?

106 - Reading

76 more points needed from 35 games to get Readings record.  That looks quite achievable from here to be honest.

Looking at the league (it’s a compulsion atm):

1st - 3rd = 10 points;

3rd - 21st = 10 points!

We have now won more league games this season, than we did for the whole of last season!

... and got as many points as we had last season with just 2 games remaining.

I'm pretty sure Reading lost the first game of the season the year they got the record points tally.

Was it at home to someone shite, like Plymouth?

And did they secure promotion against us?

I could be totally wrong on both counts.

Right on all counts 👏
