Rushden fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Everton have only won twice at home this season. Sunderland and Chelsea, we should have nothing to fear even with our injuries.
Rasmic123 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 ulloa helps us a lot at defending set pieces which is where we concede half our goals so i'd leave him in
weller54 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 king and benny will hold their own, if benny does really well i can see him displacing huth in the long run Argh?.. Benny not playing?
foxfanazer Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 king and benny will hold their own, if benny does really well i can see him displacing huth in the long runBenny ain't playing mate
My Nads Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 king and benny will hold their own, if benny does really well i can see him displacing huth in the long run Was is starting
ImBlue Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Because we have Wasyl who is also a great CB. It's no bad thing to be behind him for this game. Benny has had outings so deffo not unwanted by CR. He is the future, this is probably Wasyl's last top league year. He wasn't bought for the future at 28/29 years old. £6m for a 4th choice centre back is expensive. I like both benny and wasyl, but it is a little strange. He isn't exactly powder puff himself and had we chose Benny, Lukaku would have known he was in a game by the end just as much.

Rasmic123 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 fair, i didnt see the starting xi. benny should be starting for me, hes looked good when hes played this season, thought he was immense against west ham in the cup

Benny would have picked up a yellow within 15mins. Was fouls even more but always seems to get away with it.
Jakemoore Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Massive game this. We need to prove that we can win when our first 11 isn't totally avaliable. No Huth and no Drinkwater. But I think Kingy can come in and do a very good job like he did on Monday. He might lack the quality of Passing that DD has however which is a slight concern. And I think Wasyl can control Lukaku and keep him under wraps in the same way that Huth would have. I'll take a draw right now though, as I would have had we been playing our full first 11. I predict - 3-3! Expect goals.
st albans fox Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 IF we look under a lot of pressure add concede, I wonder if we might see a half time change with RDL , benny and gokhan come on and a shift to 3 at the back with RDL and MA as wing backs and Riyad behind JV ?
ImBlue Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I prefer Shinji, just because he suits our style of play a lot more. It's not his fault Kante is short! I like Leo, but I think he should find another team that play more to his strengths. In a different league though. Suits our team more based on what? Results? No, we have better results with Ulloa. Goals scored? No we have a better scoring ratio with Ulloa. Defensively? No we concede at a higher ratio with Okazaki on. I just have no idea why people say this. Ulloa put to be the 'only played against rubbish teams' on Monday when we beat Chelsea, who will be up there come the end of the season, so don't understand the logic. Wouldn't have minded if we looked better with Okazaki when he came on with fresh legs, but every input in the Chelsea game was doggo.
Tuna Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 8-7 to City with a 95th minute Morgan bicycle kick to win it.

weller54 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Hope Was let's lukaku out of his pocket afterwards so he can at least have Christmas dinner with his family.
Kasey Keller Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Marcin "elbows" Wasilewski is back Ref is Jon moss got a feeling we'll finish with 10 men.
Guest Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 8-7 to City with a 95th minute Morgan bicycle kick to win it. Think Krammy will come on and score the winner in that scenario. Morgan's bicycle kick would probably be our first.
ImBlue Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 With Shinji we defend from the front. A nothing statement when I have said in my post we concede at a higher rate when we do this.
Rasmic123 Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 definitely take a draw in this one, think everton are playing some of the best footy in the league at the moment and if they could actually finish they would be a lot higher. Most difficult game we've had since arsenal i think
Guest Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I expect more than a 4th choice defender for £6m. Obviously our opinion differs, and that's cool. I think with the new TV deal prices of backup players is going to spiral.
foxfanazer Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 The Shinji apologists arguements are getting thinner. Big performance needed today
Tuna Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 I think with the new TV deal prices of backup players is going to spiral. Mangala was 3rd choice at Man City last season, & he cost as much as a carribean island.
connorlcfc Posted 19 December 2015 Posted 19 December 2015 Don't agree with Okazaki, didn't want us to sign him in the first place and so far this season I'm afraid he's proved why, ineffective for the majority of the game every time he's played, would much rather have kramaric in to give him a run out
