I wonder if there was a way we could accommodate Was in perhaps a 5-3-2? I think he could be a massive asset this season. There is no other way to sum that back 3 up other than "wall". You could then have the option of changing the wing backs based upon what we need  in the match, more defensive or attack minded both an easy option.

                                                             Kasper

                                           Was         Huth           Wes

Simpson/Albrighton                                                                                                  Fuchs/Kap

                                                   Drinkwater       Mendy

                                                               Mahrez

                                                 Vardy                  Mussa

Now this I like the look of. Mahrez is to easily closed down sticking him out wide on the right, teams know what to do now. Give him a free roaming role and let him play as a 10. Musa cannot perform the role that Okazaki does, play deep and let him and Vardy have a field day getting in behind.

One thing we learnt from Arsenal last year is playing high up the field kills us, we have to invite teams to come at us if we're going to seriously compete on the counter. Huth, Morgan and Was would be a horrible prospect for any strike force to deal with.

Baring a huge center back injury crisis before Jan (I'll be shocked if we don't sign a CB). Tonight Is probably going to be wasyls last game in Leicester shirt.

I accept he has become a bit of liability in his old age but I'm still absolutely buzzing to see the big lump put on a city shirt one last time.
