LCCFox96 Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Wasilewski was excellent again yesterday. That's games against West Ham, Everton and Spurs now he's just slotted seamlessly into the back line. Absolute scenes when he scored too. Actual cult hero.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 What a goal. What a challenge to get booked. What a guy.
KingKante Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 We can always rely on was! Hope he makes more appearances this season! Maybe when Morgan's being clumsy again he'll be back!
David Lowe Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 If I met him in a dark alley I would be petrified. If I met him in a light alley I would be petrified.
Danizen Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Does anyone have a vine of the foul? I missed it.
Alf Bentley Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 Don't want to take all of the credit, but I did predict his goal on my Instagram pre-match. Did you predict his goal again, Gornik?
Bamba's Babes Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 He's a team player, he demonstrated this by trying his best to take out RDL but unfortunately the daft clown got up unscathed.
MC Prussian Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 I always see Zangief, off Street Fighter http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/103883-marcin-wasilewski-the-man-the-beast-the-legend/?p=3703123
Great Boos Up Posted 11 January 2016 Posted 11 January 2016 My bad! I'm old skool; didn't see the connection with new 3D computer enhanced Zangief that you kids play
Vardinio'sCat Posted 12 January 2016 Posted 12 January 2016 He's a team player, he demonstrated this by trying his best to take out RDL but unfortunately the daft clown got up unscathed. Tackles 2 players at a time, Class!
hachorek Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 New polish text about Marcin: http://weszlo.com/2016/01/14/jak-co-czwartek-leszek-milewski-32/ Did you hear about comparison Wasyl to Zangief from Street Figter? And other curiosity: Polish journalist talked with Nigel Pearson one year ago and he said: "If we had all players with personality of Wasyl, we would be at the top of league".
Chester Dontlie Posted 14 January 2016 Posted 14 January 2016 New polish text about Marcin: http://weszlo.com/2016/01/14/jak-co-czwartek-leszek-milewski-32/ Did you hear about comparison Wasyl to Zangief from Street Figter? And other curiosity: Polish journalist talked with Nigel Pearson one year ago and he said: "If we had all players with personality of Wasyl, we would be at the top of league". Thanks mate, truly that was one of the best articles on football I've read written by a Polish journalist, and that's saying something. It sums up Wasyl's honest, no-nonsense attitude to life and football, and explains why Anderlecht and now Leicester fans like him so much. Having read the article which is basically a campaign for calling up Wasyl and remembering Marcin's recent displays I now think I would be massively disappointed if Nawałka doesn't take him on board for the Euro 2016 Especially when his rival Szukala seems to be injured (and there's no one good enough who could step up and play on the European/ international level). Surely Leicester being 2nd in BPL and still very much in title race must edge it over Osmanlispor, currently 12th in Turkish Superlig? Honestly I have no idea how Wasyl manages to stay in form while being benched all this time, but miraculously he does, therefore deserves last minute call
Stevosevic Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Very possible that's the last time we've seen him in a City shirt.
foxes21 Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Very possible that's the last time we've seen him in a City shirt. Omg don't say that!
Collymore Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Loved the commentary. "I think waswelski is staying out of the way so he doesn't get booked..."short pause..... and camera cut to Was's neck veins nearlly bursting...."Actually I think the ref is probably staying clear of Waseleski!"
The Doctor Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Loved it when he pole axed Kane What a hero Best moment of the night. Just wish it had actually done a serious injury to that ugly Andy Johnson.
stevelcfc Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Marcin, I love you! If only you were a few years younger!
STUHILL Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Thought him and Benny didn't look as strong tonight. Wasil looked his age and Benny didn't seem as comfortable. Tough game though against a top attacking side, but neither of these did anything to force their way into the starting 11 on that performance. Chilwell on the otherhand was very decent in attack and coped ok in defence. He is proving a worthy understudy for Fuchs
Steve Earle Posted 20 January 2016 Posted 20 January 2016 Dodgy tonight. However much we love him, surely we can all see that his PL days, if they ever existed, are behind him?
