MPH Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 I remember when he signed... there was an interview... Think it was stringer asked him " do you think you mind the physicality of English football?" His reaction was priceless! He basically just laughed at the question...
Wymsey Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 He must be one of the new gladiators, if a new Gladiators series returns. Impassible.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 5 August 2016 Posted 5 August 2016 He's basically Zangief from Street Fighter. Wouldn't surprise me to see him Spinning Piledriver Zlatan on Sunday.
davieG Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Not sure if this has been posted dated 30/7 Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri says Marcin Wasilewski is the team's spirit By RobTanner | Posted: July 30, 2016 1 COMMENTS 515 SHARES image: http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/images/localworld/ugc-images/276308/Article/images/29568127/15009004-large.jpg Marcin Wasilewski (centre, no 21) is popular within the City camp Comments (1) Claudio Ranieri says defender Marcin Wasilewski is the spirit of Leicester City. The City boss has revealed he urged the club to offer the 36-year-old Poland international a new contract because he epitomises the attitude and approach that helped City become Premier League champions. Wasilewski had limited opportunities last season because of the form of the central defensive pairing of Wes Morgan and Robert Huth, and the arrival of Luis Hernandez could also affect his chances, but Ranieri said he did not want to lose Was. image: http://tag-dyn.omnitagjs.com/fo-dyn/native/preview/image?key=0869b0665dea75459aaf18d3430af9bc&ztop=0.23041554767787442&zleft=0.5435117816091954&zwidth=0.26674399744572164&zheight=0.49858691111349834&width=80&height=80&kind=INTERNAL image: http://fo-static.omnitagjs.com/fo-static/native/images/info-blue.png "I love Was because in December we were out of the cup and he came into my dressing room and said what happens now? I said I was very clear, it is very difficult for you to play because the two big guys are playing very well," Ranieri explained. "I said I don't know what happens now for you. You have very few chances, but he was fantastic in the training sessions. He was stronger, he was unbelievable. "When his contract finished I asked the owners and the sporting director that I wanted Was here because he is an example for everyone. This is our spirit. Wasilewski is our spirit." AyewJoking Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 feel sorry for him as he is on the pitch at full time wearing a tracksuit, may as well be the kit man or something. but then i bet he's on a wedge here and could easily play elsewhere for less.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Got so much time for Wasyl, it's a shame we don't hear from him much in the media though!
Stevosevic Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 He appreciates his age, he's probably happy with the rare appearance and still being amongst the boys etc...
AKCJ Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 I'd have loved him here when he was in his prime. Complete legend.
Guest Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Should be chosen to start against Hull (but won't be).
UPinCarolina Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Anyone know where a GIF or footage of the tackle on Suarez can be found? I missed the match on a backpacking excursion.

sdb Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 Should get plenty of cup action and i'm sure he's getting a good wedge each week. Can't fault the bloke - he's been great for us.

Chased, tackled & scolded! Vintage Wasyl

StanSP Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 he would have been perfect in that MON team of the mid to late 90s. Elliott, Walsh & Wasilewski. Brutal.

Imagine Ian Wright trying to get at Steve Walsh at the end of the 3-3 at Filbert Street and Wasyl piles in...
LAprice_ Posted 11 August 2016 Posted 11 August 2016 I can't quite believe that Ranieri told Was that he wouldn't get much game time because the "two big guys" are playing so well.

Collymore Posted 14 August 2016 Posted 14 August 2016 I wonder if there was a way we could accommodate Was in perhaps a 5-3-2? I think he could be a massive asset this season. There is no other way to sum that back 3 up other than "wall". You could then have the option of changing the wing backs based upon what we need in the match, more defensive or attack minded both an easy option. Kasper Was Huth Wes Simpson/Albrighton Fuchs/Kap Drinkwater Mendy Mahrez Vardy Mussa

Clever Fox Posted 15 August 2016 Posted 15 August 2016 Could have done with him playing against Hull. Always gives 100 %.
