The Doctor Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 This is the other 5. Keep in mind Shinji has had ~500 more minutes on the pitch... You're stuck on the "theory of Shinji" and don't have to results to back it up. https://streamable.com/hoi2 https://streamable.com/lh26 https://streamable.com/kcr7 https://streamable.com/ko9x https://streamable.com/3rxs That he's played well on a regular basis while ulloa has had two good performances (Newcastle and stoke) all season seems to support the shinji is a better fit idea. Again - you're too obsessed with stats that you're not watching the performances; quoting things like goals for and against while on the pitch ignores any difference in strategies when they're on the pitch, relative quality of the opposition and indeed time on the pitch in each match (if someone comes on with ten minutes left then they'll expect to concede less goals while on the pitch than the player that plays eighty, and converting to per ninty will not correct for that). Lets be clear though, okazaki has played a crucial and regular part in getting us top, ulloa has not been up to scratch - that much is obvious if you watch the games
Lambert09 Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I love his passion, looked to me like he was crying after the goal. My girlfriend loves him more than me
Captain... Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 If you try hard enough, I bet theres an argument to say that even though Cambiasso isn't playing much in Greece, he's actually masterminded our success this season. Possibly it was Cambiasso that was at the centre of our promotion season because Pearson told the boys he'd be joining if we went up? If you try hard enough. ..
Koke Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 Neither Ulloa nor Okazaki are great. That's why we really need a new striker within the next few days. Mahrez is a winger who is scoring the goals that Okazaki or Ulloa should have got.
Foxxed Posted 1 February 2016 Posted 1 February 2016 He's decent for at least two things, forcing marking errors on corners as in the Spurs match, winning headers to create and often finish chances as in the Stoke match. That, and his work rate was much better last match. I'd like him to do more, but you shouldn't discount him.
FireFox Posted 27 February 2016 Author Posted 27 February 2016 Oh his name is Leonardo! The most used sub this season so far. Why did the mods change the name of the thread...
