teblin Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Involved in both goals. (In the build up as well as scoring one of them) Out of form not rubbish as people were saying. We wouldn't be in this league if it wasn't for him last season.
David Hankey Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Pleased he got a goal and no doubt it will do him a world of good.
ImBlue Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Excellent yesterday, starting the move off and finished it with some other nice touches.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 He's the latest scapegoat. Yesterday he was really good That said, I'd still look to get another striker in if possible.
LCCFox96 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Much, much better from Ulloa. He's a real handful and a goal threat to anyone in this league when he plays like that.
Bayfox Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Much better, but that was partly down to having players in and around him, vardy and mahrez always seemed to be close by. I think we learnt on weds that he is not a lone front man.
AKCJ Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 To the absolute berk who started singing "You're ****ing shit" when Ulloa was being brought on and constantly moaned at everything he did, even refusing to give him any credit for the goal... don't come again.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 To the absolute berk who started singing "You're ****ing shit" when Ulloa was being brought on and constantly moaned at everything he did, even refusing to give him any credit for the goal... don't come again. It's ok, he had to catch a flight to Hoffenheim straight after the game.
Nalis Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 image.jpeg I laughed at this far more than I should have. On a side note though, I remember reading somewhere last season that he'd opted for Chile (if ever selected) over Argentina, not sure how much truth there was in that.
Vestan Pance Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Got to say well done to the majority of fans who really got behind Ulloa when he came on, great support for a guy who appeared to be struggling with confidence. Team effort.

Team effort. Yup Leo's touch might be a bit pish and he might lumber about just bashing into people sometimes but you can't fault his effort what a top man
Fox92 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Can I just say, before I talk performance, I sit in SK2 and when he came on yesterday I heard some boo's and quite frankly it was disgraceful. Was pleased to see Ulloa score yesterday. I think he needed it and hopefully it will give him a confidence boost - I think even he was relieved to score. I feel for Ulloa when we play him up front on his own (like he was against Spurs). He isn't going to do anything because he has no support. Needs players around him.
Captain... Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 The big difference was that I saw, was he kept it simple, like Vardy's goal he won the ball and laid it off for DD to pass it through to Vardy, recently he has been trying to do too much, dribble with the ball, taking people on. Just over complicating things and trying to do too much. Just win the ball give it simple and get in the box. Then be there to put away those chances when they come your way.
Corky Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 Can I just say, before I talk performance, I sit in SK2 and when he came on yesterday I heard some boo's and quite frankly it was disgraceful. It's pathetic support. Booing someone onto the pitch is moronic and makes you look even more moronic when they do something positive. I'm not Ulloa's biggest fan but there's no way I'd boo him or any other player before they've kicked a ball in the match, every player should have the chance to show what they can do.

I agree, same as my thoughts. I couldn't believe it.

CollinsLCFC Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I, like many others, have been quite frustrated with Leo this season, although I would never boo him. You can see the frustration in himself when he knows he's been pants. Nevertheless, he puts the effort in and was rewarded on Saturday, which will hopefully give him confidence. I think that the departure of Cambiasso has not helped. I can imagine, both being friends off the pitch and fellow Argentines, Cambiasso would give Leo the belief and confidence in himself.
C-man Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'm sure I heard ironic cheers when he won his first header. Yes that definitely happened. Some absolute cvnts in our fanbase there really is.

Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 24 January 2016 Posted 24 January 2016 I'm sure I heard ironic cheers when he won his first header. Yup a group of a about 10 guys all did as he won the header sitting towards the back of SK1 next to SK2. I turned round and they were all smiling and me and few other called them fvcking idiots.
Kilworthfox Posted 27 January 2016 Posted 27 January 2016 Ulloa speaks to Marca about our title chances.

Basically saying Cambiasso masterminded our great escape

Basically saying Cambiasso masterminded our great escape Yes. I too was impressed with Ulloa and what he said about Esteban's influence last season to get us out of the sh it. I was also interested in how the Spanish football media see us, like a version of Atletico Madrid, fighting against the financial odds. What does come across well in the interview is Ulloa's high regard of the Leicester City fans, how the club is being ran very well, and how the dressing room is very content with the style of football that we are playing under Don Ranieri.
