Panayiotou signs on loan for Raith Rovers - End of Season

Think you're all being a little hard on him and our other youth players.

It's pretty hard for 10m rated international players to get into our team so it's understandable that the kids can't.

We are no longer a champ or div 1 team. We are Champions League.

Well you've said it yourself, we're looking at the biggest stage in domestic football so unfortunately those players who struggled to get out the fringes when we were Championship are unlikely to ever  cut it here, although I'm sure they can cut it in the smaller leagues and hopefully work their way up.

Really pleased with this. As mentioned above or club is competing at the top end and it's going to be extremely difficult for our youth players to get in to the first team. Make no mistake about it, these players are being scouted constantly, just as we do in our search for young hungry players - just look at Arsenal coming back again for Ben. Hope the kid smashes it and I hope the fans think about getting behind our youth.

It matters enormously.

Good luck to him Oop North. No matter where he plays, I do hope he makes a name for himself during his loan spell, enhance his skills and can establish himself in the first team. In the end, all footballers want to play regularly.

Strange one for me as surely he is better than Scottish first division level which is the equivalent of the conference north in terms of quality.

Sadly he was never going to be good enough for us but I hope we have given him a platform for a decent career, it would be nice if a league 2 team came in for him and signed him on a permanent deal as I think he should be good enough to be part of a squad there.

But is isn't that bad anymore. It's got Rangers and Hibs in it. I'd say it's more like League 1/2/Conference mix. The Premiership isn't much better though.

If you look at the way the loan is reported on the website, I think it shows there is still a future for him here. He's been playing a lot deeper when I've seen him and he actually looks like a clever footballer so you never know.
