Deucalion Posted 13 February 2016 Posted 13 February 2016 If all the owners were interested in was business, then why not sell arms to the Middle East? Damn site safer bet than buying a club a few years on from bankruptcy which had just failed to win promotion to the Premier League after sinking to it's lowest ebb in it's history. I think they deserve some gratitude and it is about more than 'just business'.

The motives were business , they or Susan had never been to Leicester although top had an awareness of us The King power brand is growing they have plans to make it a global brand and with billions of viewers every year the King power brand would get huge huge global exposure Now saying That it's obvious they now love the club and its supporters and we respect and love them All Rosie now

They could sponsor a few big events for similar cost at hardly any risk.
mozartfox Posted 13 February 2016 Posted 13 February 2016 The best gift is the Premiership title. Everyone stick behind the team through the odd wobble that is bound to happen before now and the end of the season, job done.
foxes21 Posted 13 February 2016 Posted 13 February 2016 The players and Claudio deserve something from fans..
dean023 Posted 13 February 2016 Author Posted 13 February 2016 How much will it cost ? Depends on the amount of donor = amount of pages. If its the full 250 pages then its gonna be between £350-£400. There may be other things in the pipeline but it really all depends on the response and amount of donors Also can we speak to printer and get a price for replicas , maybe not in leather ? We could sell them as a Nice way to raise funds for somewhere like Rainbows or Loros ? Proper local hospices that will have helped hundreds if not 1000's of us at the KP. This could generate some much needed PR for a charity !! Maybe have the charity present the book and get all that free newspaper and multi media exposure ? It's a great idea , now it could be a wonderful idea if tagged to a charity and all that free PR goes to a worthy cause might also make our owners aware if local charities that need help ! I have contacts at both the above Dean if you would like to talk to them I'm not sure there would be a demand for a hard copy which is why I want to produce a download so that people can view it.

Captain... Posted 13 February 2016 Posted 13 February 2016 Initial reaction was the usual scepticism, cringe, why, tinpot etc But having read the thread and re-read the original post I actual think it is a nice idea, something simple, but very meaningful. It will most likely end up in the LCFC museum, or a reproduction anyway for all fans to enjoy. Like the memorial garden, the fans bricks in the wall it is all part of it being a club, a community and not a business. Even if you do just look at them as businessmen, it is common for people to write letters and praise businessman and give them gifts as a thank you in response to exceptional service.
easilee Posted 17 February 2016 Posted 17 February 2016 Can't we just bung em one of these with a nice note in it? Cheaper and I bet they don't have one. http://www.shotdeadinthehead.com/terrace-chants-inspired-by-leicester-city-fc-mug.html
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 I'm in Thailand at the mo and have given this some thought. A massive banner on the last day past around the crowd. Thought initially a simple 'thank you' in Thai but why not in Italian beneath then English. No point buying something crappy when the idea is to say Thank you. If I was them I'd be bowled over and this would be visual and shared. Highly public thank you and would nationally highlight our thanks and their effort. Do it with the change if the naff pressie is happening

A massive Tifo going across the Kop would be amazing final game of the season!

Mr gregs Posted 27 February 2016 Posted 27 February 2016 How can people actually go to the trouble off posting negative comments!I'm sure ,the money we will make from final position in table prob champs lge, and staying up for new TV deal, comes a distant 2 and to football on the pitch! ! Got fantastic owners and they've got fantastic people below them running club day to day! !having a rich benefactor buy ur club, isn't a given for success,! Takes lot hard work ,difficult descitions, and a lot off luck! ,! ! Vincent tam ,at Cardiff shows you ,being v v wealthy!,means nothing if you havnt got a plan, and ride roughshod over the fans!
