WesMorganGod Posted 7 March 2016 Posted 7 March 2016 If there is a small mini earthquake every time we score a goal, then can you imagine the earthquake when we lift our premiership trophy at the king power?. I hope they monitor it that day, buildings should collapse!!!. It will be off the Richter scale.

Collymore Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I think people are missing the point of this story. It's just another example of the press jumping on the leicester bandwagon! Yes our fans go mental when we score but the story is about the sensors that happen to be close to the ground that some school kids have produced a graph in Excel. Like columbo they've noticed patterns every 2weeks when we play! These sensors are so sensitive by the way that even a lorry driving near by seems like a continental shift. It even says they get data when the away side scores! What's the point in this story? I bet they get readings at halftime when fat bastards are shuffling to have a sneaky fag in the toilet and grab a pie. That didn't make the story did it? Pile of shite and why I hate the media.
901Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Looks like it's not just the Premiere league we are rocking with each goal scored... It's the whole planet!! http://soccer.nbcsports.com/2016/03/08/study-says-leicesters-fans-causing-earthquakes-with-goal-celebrations/?cid=eref%3Anbcnews%3Atext
ceredigion Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 When we went 3-2 up against Shrewsbury in the FA Cup Quarter Final in 1982 the roar of the crowd was reputedly heard in the Mercury offices about a mile away. Plus ca change.
One Half Wonder Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Would love us to start singing 'point three on the richter scale, point three on the richter scale' (to the tune of 1 nil to the ...arsenal(?))

Exactly. 0.3 on the Richter scale is about the same as dropping a bag of sugar on the floor. Hardly an "earthquake".
SpacedX Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Apparently there is similar seismic monitoring equipment of equal sensitivity installed near the Ricoh Arena which is how we are able to confirm fans testimonies of a pin dropping during the second half of last Saturday’s game against Rochdale.
