His uncle is the 4th richest royal in the world and would feature in the top 25 most wealthy on the planet. Can't really see any negatives here....

his uncle is unlikely to give you free beer

Plenty of assumptions in this thread.

Perhaps we've signed him because he's half decent at football?

I assume your assumptions

If he is a good footballer then it's great for us as he's free so could have resale value.  Looking at his IG page he looks like he not from the real world, vain and ostentatious but he wealthy and 17, I guess that's all he has ever known.  I can't see him having much in common with many of the senior squad if he breaks through and could seem like a novelty or if he's a decent lad and can play no one will care.  I could see it being a distraction with the other teenage lads in the academy but that's due to young lads being idiots and the culture today.

I can't tell if he's that good from the video as the defending and goal keeping looks shocking, either way he looks confident running with the ball.

Would being from his back ground give you more hunger or less drive?  I suppose this is the stage of his career where doors stop opening for you and you have to prove your talent.

Send him on loan to Fleetwood or Luton.

Nah, can't see past it being a favour being done. The lad just wants to swap the current Premier League champions to the champions elect.
