BORING GROUP STAGE EXIT BUT 60% POSSESSION COMING RIGHT UP

Looking forward to see what Drinkwater can do when he doesn't have to play it long quickly. I'm sure he has the quality to play keep ball but it's not going to be easy against Germany.

he'll just do what every other england midfielder does for england, pass it side to side until we lose it and they score.

"Drinkwater was flanked at the press conference by his club team-mate Vardy - it is rare for two players to attend England press conferences together but the midfielder apparently felt more comfortable with a familiar face alongside him - and naturally, the subject of Leicester's Premier League chances arose on more than one occasion."

AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!

I love how he defelected the question and ended up talking about call of duty. Ranieri has rubbed off on them and the best way possible.

there's a video clip on the england twitter and a journo asks three or four times "well seen as you're both here and top of the league can you win it" and they both just keep saying "mate were here about england we've said all we want about that" as if it was something nobody wanted to talk about.

Since his England call up he's had so many key moments. Look at the last 4 games:

West Ham:              So good in the move that led up to our penalty.

Sunderland:            That pass.

Southampton:          Drinkwater - Fuchs - Morgan!

Palace:                    Two key passes (to Albrighton and Vardy) led to the goal.

He just needs to be a bit more consistent (a few misplaced passes yesterday gave West Ham counter attacking chances), but that list above shows you why Roy Keane was making Scholes-comparisons recently.
