fuchsntf Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I KNOW there is a topic/theme in the other forum. Without going over the top, nothing really special, but wouldnt it possible at the next 2 home games, just to show a warm respect to a lad from the leicester sporting-family. We will be on television, so just a few chants, with if poss, a couple of small banners, maybe from The cricketting fraternity, just to show 'Titch' our thoughts. Theres the simple..." there is only one james Taylor"..etc. Nothing special a short showing of recognition thats all.
Darkon84 Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 He got his chance with us, but he's a Nottingham lad. I'm sure he remembers his time here fondly, but I can't imagine he's got a real deep connection to us.
danny. Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 I like that you couldn't be bothered to type that extra ester in Leicestershire - a four character saving!

everton carr Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Taylor is indeed a Foxes fan and was born in Leicestershire
stevelcfc Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Very good player and an incredibly nice and humble bloke, such a shame for him.
StanSP Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Any context on what this thread is about? Who is he? Cricketer that used to play for Leicestershire Moved to Nottinghamshire. Has had to retire from the game due to having a serious heart condition. Only aged 26.
stevelcfc Posted 12 April 2016 Posted 12 April 2016 Any context on what this thread is about? Who is he? England and ex-Leicestershire cricketer, forced to retire today at 26 because of a heart condition similar to Muamba. Beaten to it.
Darkon84 Posted 13 April 2016 Posted 13 April 2016 He is an lcfc fan though... Quite vocal on social about the fact! Well if is the case, then I'm happy to stand corrected. Always liked him as a player and a person when I've met him, just always thought he was a Notts lad through and through.
