40 quid? come off it...

Book costing £31.90 each plus packaging + signed for delivery

Is the excess profit going to charity?

Yes if there is any left it will be part of the final donation to the Foxes Foundation

£40 for a book with a photo of someone in a Leicester shirt and a "thank you" message.

Do you wear balaclavas when robbing people?

How F**king dare you! I'm not making a penny from this and have spend 100's of hours on it

A couple of pictures of some pages might be useful. (I don't judge a book by it's cover). £40 seems a bit steep

being sold at cost

Well this has gone down well lol

usual negativity from foxestalk.

How does this work? Didn't loads of people contribute money towards its production? Are they profiting from this?

No. see my response above

I'm afraid you'll only get away with selling books that expensive at universities.

I've got 30 people who have a different opinion

is this the crowdfunded message book for the owners? i thought it was  for  1 book, to give them as a  gift?

It is but some people want a hard copy as well as the download

usual negativity from foxestalk.

Is it really? Or am I just picking up on the obvious vibe in this thread that everyone who responded thought you were selling a load of tat for an excessive price.

It's not negative it's observant.

another clueless response

Please enlighten me as to what was clueless about my response.

Was the feedback on the thread negative? Yes. Did I observe that when I made my first post? Yes. Have I offered an opinion on your product and belittled it? No. Have I been right about everything I've posted? Yes.

My posts may have been classless, but certainly not clueless.

To be fair having reread your comment I apologise as I thought you were implying that it was tat.  I stand corrected and after being accused of profiteering and robbing people  I was a bit pi$$ed off because if they knew how much organising this took perhaps they would keep their comments to themselves.

Please, let me take this one...

You are utterly clueless, should you have had a clue you wouldn't have posted such plainly moronic 'observations' along with some fellow b@llends on here...

Dean Hawthorne, off his own back, has spent hours pulling together a large book of supporters showing their appreciation in messages and photos to the owners... A nice gesture in my opinion, but, then again, I did choose to participate and my dad and I happily chucked a few quid in the pot to support it... And there is a picture of me, my dad, my daughter and son happily smiling inananly on page 37 with a few well considered words to the owner...

A few (of the 300 who participated) asked if they could have a hard copy as souvenir of a marvellous season too and some have taken him up on this offer

If you don't want the book - then, quite frankly, sod off and keep your nonsense I'll considered and rude comments to yourself!

Dean - well dome marte and great work !!!

Edited - as I quoted the wrong person... This aimed at the innitial posters...

Well done to Dean, but it didn't go down well here did it, that's all I pointed out.

And no worries Dean, thanks for the apology. I wasn't taking the piss out of what you'd done, just the reaction to it one here.
