Out Foxed Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Think we need to bring Pyatt out of retirement to dole out some beatings
Thracian Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 What an absolute ****ing pratt you can be sometimes. Yeah, let's skip giving our kids an education and instead turn them in to knuckle daggers so that we can have better football hooligans too. Get back to the dark ages ffs. I'd have quality education at the top of any list of priorities. My grandsons went to Wellingborough where, like in many other similar schools, they had a more than worthwhile introduction to the Combined Cadet Force before heading off to university. Training to look after yourself has nothing to do with football hooliganism or becoming knuckle daggers. But sadly people with a soft touch have created our own dark ages by creating a society that is constantly being taken advantage of. How soft we were in listening to Blair and involving ourselves in the Iraq War..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Iraq_War How soft we've been in opening our gates to immigration overload: http://www.migrationwatchuk.org/statistics-net-migration-statistics How soft we've been in allowing our schools and whole areas of our towns and cities to be overrun with incomers. Softness is all connected. You can be as weak in the mind as in the body. Pacifism is a laudable concept. Sadly it gets you bullied or taken advantage of. And so many people across the world today have lost their lives, their limbs, their homes, their property, their freedom, their rights, their land and their families as a consequence of being pacific and letting others roll all over them. Being prepared doesn't provide guarantees either. But it does offer a better chance. To be fair many of the assaults videoed show lads being isolated and attacked by packs of wolves And in these attacks the English lads stand and trade and try fight back, nothing too soft about that ! The bravery of some of those English lads was enormous , yes they took a kicking 10 on 1 but they stood their ground ! I didn't question their bravery nor ever would. I just hated seeing them so vulnerable to the steroid-stuffed bully boys. I'd love to see our youngsters so fit, fast and capable they'd celebrate the feeling and never feel intimidated by anyone. Perhaps I'm just lamenting my age and bemoaning the aches and pains that compromise that attitude! . .

You make some good points above Discipline and respect need to go hand in hand with self defence techniques The sight of drunk portly , once fearsome, 47-55 yo English "lads" trying to fight tooled up 20-35yo super fit soldiers and policemen was wrong on so many levels Let's hope we have seen the end of it now

If we're no better than that then bring on the next intelligent species because we won't have earned the right to survive.
Wymsey Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 No point eliminating them as they'll do it themselves with the tragic football they're playing. Utter dross.
Socks Posted 15 June 2016 Posted 15 June 2016 Fresh scuffles tonight apparentley in Lille Not clear which fans it is though
MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2016 Posted 16 June 2016 Says we've gone soft - presumably a result of Labour's promoting a luvvie culture in schools and even things like conkers being regarded as dangerous by health and safety. Can't abide the hooligan culture but can't help agreeing we've been softened up in all sorts of ways. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-36515283 There's two sides to the coin: Have we really softened up? Or have violence-ready guys in Russia been toughened up? One difference you see in their preparation is that you won't find many Russian hools drinking before going out on a rampage. They are thus more deadly and more precise with their attacks, as their judgement and movements are not clouded by alcohol. But I'm sure you'll find a Labour spin in everything if you're keen on finding one.
