This is one thing that annoys me with kasper, or if someone tells him to boot the ball long all the time.

Yes we don't have height up front, and that's not a problem if we play it around, and not just boot it long.

We looked better on Saturday when we knocked it around, and hull couldn't cope, admittedly we moved it slow, but we just kept punting it long, hull were taller and stronger, and it's not like we were picking up the second ball, the middle of the park was empty, and hull found it all to easy.

If we insist on using this tactic, Leo has to start, at least vardy, or musa may get on a knock down.

I think height is somewhat overrated - or at least, it's not the one decisive factor and never should be when signing a player.

You'll also have to look at speed, agility, defensive abilities as well as aerial strength coupled with jumping strength/springiness.

In the end, it boils down to what the manager and the staff see fit in order to complement the team and style we have in place already.

This is true, but I'd argue that often English teams adapt their strategy when playing in Europe.

As said above, height shouldn't be the determining factor in choosing a player (no one said it is) but we do need to have players who can offer something other than pace.

Im sure I read somewhere that Leicester, Arsenal and Man city who filled 3 of the top 4 spots last season had the smallest teams

which to be honest surprised me.
