Dames Posted 13 August 2016 Posted 13 August 2016 Would take 40 million for him now - he's not looked interested since the PSG match, his decision making has been extremely poor and without Kante this team cannot afford to carry any passengers.

His performances are under scrutiny whilst it drags on, either come out and say your staying/want to leave, then we all know where we stand and he can focus on the season ahead. Cause if he does go we need time to get a replacement. Yes, today he wasn't one of our worse players today, but their were times he tried to take players on, instead of making the easy pass and keeping possession. if him and Vardy doesn't play well we struggle, so the sooner his future is sorted the better for all parties involved, as like has been said above we cannot afford to carry players giving 80%, we need the minimum 100% effort at the very least.

He can be the difference , our one player who has the potential to create something different. Yet we want to discard him because of 1 match, plus some friendlies. give your heads a good wobble, and think about what you are saying. we we lost because we didn't play with a direct replacement for Kante, we are off the pace, and introduced 2 new players into the side. It wasn't because Mahrez wasn't interested. He plays well when the team play well. We need to get the side settled. There is a lot of teams who will sit deeper against us, to nullify the extra pace we have in our side. So we need the guile of midfield to win differently, and perhaps that of a number 10 . Vardy had 2 men behind him, and didn't get a sniff, same as when he played for England in the Euros. Ranieri will have to try to win differently against some of the bottom half clubs and not necessarily on counter. Any circus and speculation is being fuelled on here and social media. If somebody keeps reading on a daily basis that he is off to Atsenal or Chelsea, by various 'credible' football websites , then you go down into a meltdown and start looking at all sorts for a clue. recall the Vardy situation no so long ago. We trusted Ranieri and his staff last season, they will know when a player truly has had his head turned and not play him. Take Schlupp for example. If you watch football , and watch the movement and work rate off the ball, you will see. Watching it on TV doesn't give that ability. His thinking and movement is steps ahead sometimes.

It would have helped if he were more efficient today ( he needs to step it up) but the main issues are elsewhere .. you are just focusing on him to vent out your frustrations because he is such a convenient target ..

You tell me who else played well today? Collectively we weren't at it. Best player means everything, it's such a high accolade, and yet after 3-4 pre season games and 1 league match people want him gone. It's laughable and they simply don't understand football. I guess the longer it goes on the more likely the proper supporters and fans can get a ticket. The manager is no fool.
